The top one you posted is by the same guy who did the artwork used on Metallica's Jump in the Fire single: http://www.lesedwards.com/main/ (search for "devils")

Which in turn has somewhat of its doppelgänger:

Yes, Whelan has some great stuff, and it's fairly common that several bands use from the same piece of work.

Anyway, speaking of Sepultura...

I highly doubt you mean this one because it is by an underground Greek DIY band but their cover is a direct reference to Scum (obviously done on purpose as a tribute to Napalm Death).

Antioch II: First Stryke might as well be a combo of these two. The Motley Crue quad you provided above, did the Beatles have something of that sort or could have been a shoot photo? idk.

Mybad. I meant if the Beatles had a similarly envisioned quadruple cover (like that Motley Crue you provided) or something else i.e. promo photo, cuz i've seen a doom band do something similar though i can't put a finger on it.

For cases where bands use the exact same source for their artwork, I would recommend checking Archives of Khazad-Dum. Unfortunately, it seems the person behind it isn't running it anymore.

Or fortunately, based on some of the less mentally healthy posts on that site... Seems to be part an artwork site and part a shock site.

Anyway, turns out the previously posted Sepultura devil is present on more covers: http://archivesofkhazad-dum.blogspot.se ... RuqN9wlFhE
