Out right now. This is their first album without the Behexen dudes, but it sounds really damn good thus far. I'll definitely be spinning this a couple of times.

I remember "Bosom of Wisdom and Madness" being good when I saw them live. Now to check out the full thing!

Shatraug seems to have been quite busy lately, between this, the two Horna releases, and it sounds like a new Doedsvangr album in the works? Plus multiple shows with Horna and Sargeist.

I like what I hear, seems like they went with "meatier" sound this time.

Highlights so far: Vocals on The Bosom of Wisdom and Madness, main riff on Unbound (addictive!) and the whole Blessing of the Fire-Bearer song.

Will definitely return to this one.

Hell yeah! I was out of town and happened to open an email from WTC which I often ignore. I was pleasantly surprised to see a very full-length new Sargeist album. Just got home and listening to it for the first time on my headphones. Loved the previous album and this sounds like a good mix of all their various styles. The title track is totally kicking ass right now, a more grim LTDI sound, giving me the chills. Also glad it sounds like Sargeist and nothing like Nightbringer, but I’m noticing more variety and technicality than usual. I will probably listen to it 37 times in the next week.

Sounds excellent, and that cover art is awesome.

sounds better than the last one which was def boring. Saw them last year as well and was their best show ive seen so far. Seeing them again this evening with Acrimonious and Chaos Invocation.

The riffs are insane. I can't believe I missed them when they stopped by LA.

I tend to prefer Behexen over Sargeist (apart from 'Let the devil in, obviously), but this one is really great and my second favourite of theirs. The decent production helps.

Loved it, the new vocalist fits the band well and Torog stepping down hasnt impacted the sound negatively. As always some nice riffs, highly enjoyable like their other albums.
