NP: Type O Negative - White Slavery

Nothing like some bleak and beautiful melancholy before bedtime, with a few slices of toast.

Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaga: Danza III

I'm glad I only paid .99 for it. outside of that it's good for a dollar purchase, any more and i would've been pissed.

"Dawnbreaker" -
Hexvessel

This is certainly interesting, but like Dødheimsgard, Mcnerney's weird vocals ruin it for me. 3/5 at best.

Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation

This album is really sending me on a trip right now. It's almost... hypnotic somehow.

I've been trying to tear into his discography, yet I always go back to Irrlicht and Cyborg the most frequently. It's something about that archaic sounding space atmosphere that I can't let go of.

Devin Townsend - Terrorizer

Wow! This is kind of what I thought Deconstruction was going to sound like before it came out. And this sounds nothing like that album. Still awesome though.

Haha. I didn't know this song would play next in this album. How apt on this day!
Musically, this is melodic death/doom from Portugal.

Manilla Road - Stand Your Ground

This song is sort of like Mysterium's version of Open the Gates. It's the most instantly gratifying track on the album anyway.

Stratovarius - Will the Sun Rise?

This sounds like a different band than the one we have now. If not for the vocals it pretty much would be, but even those are very different - the types of vocal melodies are like night and day between this and Nemesis/Elysium.
