I thought they went too far with the AC/DC cover album, but Frosty The Snowman!

Is this even real or just some goof he did for that podcast? The riffs sound the same in every song. Chris Barnes is a brain-dead stoner either way.

Sounds like the riffs are previously used SFU riffs with christmas lyrics over them instead.

I'm calling bullshit, but at least he doesn't take himself or the band too seriously.

That was hilarious! :-D I'm not too familiar with SFU, so I can't tell if it's really him, but I guess it is based on the comments above.

I guess he is on a quest to sing every song in the universe with a cookie monster vocal.

This is pretty sweet, I hope its not a joke just for the podcast.

I may be wrong, but aren't members of Hate Eternal doing a christmas record too ?

Haaaaa!!!! What a big goof! It would be great if it were just this little video. But if they actually release a whole album of this shit, it would fall flat into the realm of novelty albums like Jingle Dogs and Jingle Cats.

EDIT: And I swear I've heard the riff they use on "Little Drummer Boy" before. It's so familiar it's gotta be from another SFU song.

It is. All of them are.
"Deck The Halls" uses the backing track to "Human Target"
"Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" uses the backing track to "Haunted"
"Frosty The Snowman" uses the backing track to "Tomorrow's Victim"
"Little Drummer Boy" uses the backing track to "Beneath A Black Sky"
"Silver Bells" uses the backing track to "Lycanthropy"
"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" uses the backing track to "The Enemy Inside"

Even with its jokey status, it sounds like a late night talk show's parody of death metal.

Maybe they are pulling a Twisted Sister move by using previous songs as music for Christmas tune ie: Twisted Christmas?

I know, but this...is almost like the real Haunted imo.
It's a great pity that he wastes this performance for a fun album instead for a real new record.

I'm so gonna get this :D

I should have spotted Lycanthropy right away! I used to annoy the hell out of my college guitar teacher by starting each session with a warm-up jam to that tune. Vocals and all!

That cover of Deck the Halls is the sound regular people think of when they think of death metal.

Well, it's not bad, but I think it is unnecessary humorously. I mean, the voice sounds very well but the way it sings ... sometimes this reminds more of Dethklok than Six Feet Under.

Me and my bandmate were laughing our asses off to this yesterday, especially at how drunk and redneck Chris Barnes sounds when he talks
