Not a stupid thread at all. I would help you, but I only have large shirts.

UK sizes, for me, are crap - L is too tight, while XL is too loose, almost baggy. You guys seriously need an L.5 size.

i measured two sized medium t-shirts and these are the measurements i got for each:

1st shirt:
sleeve tip to tip = 33 inch.
top of collar to bottom of shirt = 28 inch.
pit to pit = 19 inch.

2nd shirt:
sleeve tip to tip = 32 inch.
top of collar to bottom of shirt = 28 inch.
pit to pit = 19 inch.

and the only reason there's that inch of a difference in the sleeve tip to tip is probably because one may have shrank slightly more than the other. i hope this helps you out in your quest for conversion.

I hate UK sizes so fucking much. I ordered a medium Angel Witch shirt that was too small but they kept sending me new mediums and I'm not even sure their large would even fit me.
