I decided to write up a new article - a review of Panopticon's album "Kentucky," and, more or less, of the band overall:

I basically go into the lyrical content of the album and how it reflects on environmentalism and the plight of the coal miners as they tried to unionize. I also tried to elaborate a bit on the overall sound. I know that Panopticon's relevance in - or even connection with - the Cascadian black metal scene (if it can be called that) is negligible, but I view this music as a natural progression of what those bands were/are doing.

Anyhow, give it a read!
My Last FM includes black metal, death metal, folk metal, viking metal, classic rock, southern rock, hard rock, classical, film score, folk, and blues. What it does not include, is enough metalheads to shoot the shit with. Add me.
