Love that cover and title. So pumped for more Tankard. They're one of the few long-running thrash bands where I might actually prefer the newer material from what I've heard.

I am certain there will be 3-4 bangers in there as usual. And I am so happy for them that Eintracht won the Europa League, literally I was supporting Eintracht just because of Tankard.

I'll certainly be checking this out. Tankard albums usually provide a worthwhile listen.

Oh yes, I can never have enough Tankard and every new record has been great imo. I pretty much love their entire discography (as well as being the most fun live band on the planet) so this will very likely be AOTY material for me :headbang:

Been a while since the last album eh? They did an album every two years from 1998-2014.

It's highly probable that the pandemic played a role in there being five years since the last one. Probably added 1-2 years.

They're a fun band, and occasionally have some fun catchy tunes that I dig (and I'll probably find at least two or three of those on this album.) Not the greatest of bands, but far, far from the worst out there.

True. It's possible that this album was supposed to come out sometime in 2020 or 2021.

Tankard are a very enjoyable and likeable band. Not fantastic, but very good at what they do. Looking forward to this.

I haven't really listened to Tankard's later releases, but I'll give this a try. It'll probably be better than the new Kreator at least.

Another great, catchy song. Love how melodic Tankard of the last twenty years is.

This would have been great if they had chopped it in half. The only point of the whole second half of the song is the solo, which they could have done anyway without all that fluff around it and repeating the fucking chorus 50 times (which, I must admit, has been the band's only fault on recent albums). Not too keen on Gere's vocal line either, but the production sounds like the best they've ever had, so fucking heavy.
Let's hope the rest of the record picks up.

I liked this song, but I did think Gerre sounded a bit tired. For as much as I like everything Tankard has done, they're definitely hitting the point of diminishing returns for me.
