Well, this thread fell flat on its face. Surprisingly since the previous thread for an album release of theirs drew some interest.

Anyway, a second single is out, so I may as well post it:

It's kind of sad that this band seems to be largely ignored on this board, because both Preach Eternal Gospels and Immense Intense Suspense are both excellent albums imo. Checked out both singles, and they were both really good, though I slightly prefer the second one. Looking forward to the album's release.

I dunno, maby because the band consists of 6/7 new musicians. Is it really Phlebotomized? These guys have little to do with the band that released Immense Intense Suspense almost 30 years ago eh
That said. I never hear anyone talking about them apart from them being 'very good musicians' and that's about it. I have the same opinion. Saw them live, they play very well.

Their comeback album was really good and the singles they've released so far also seem to be on the same level so I think this will be on par.

Deformation of Humanity was one of my favorite albums of 2018. Looking forward to this one!

Just have to say their second album Skycontact is blowing my mind right now. Tremendously inventive. Big, crunchy riffs and actually progressive songwriting ethos. Great!

I love this band. Always felt that they never got the attention due timing, smaller label, and being just a bit too advant-garde for some. Looking forward to hearing what they've done here.

I had never checked these guys out before, and I finally did the other day. Really enjoying the older stuff I have listened to so far. I checked out the first 2 albums, and also the recent EP. The newest single, A unity your messiah pre claimed, is awesome, and now I can't wait for the new album to drop.

Glad I happened to notice this thread, and it reminded me to give them a listen!

Given their unique take on progressive death/doom metal, it's a bit of a shame that Phlebotomized never got the attention they deserved back in the day. I feel like people who are into bands like Pan.Thy.Monium or Supuration should really dig this style of metal.

They had massive revolving door line ups back then too.

Been listening to it for the past few days, and I've been enjoying it a lot. Their best in a long while imo.
