I'm certain it does count. While it's a cover, the version Cradle does is a metal song.

I'd love to hear a convincing explanation as to how the Misfits version is a punk song while the COF version is a metal song.

Earth A.D. is a full-blown hardcore album. These two version of 'Death Comes Ripping' are basically identical.
