Very cool album. The CD was reissued last year; I own it and reviewed it in one of my YouTube videos.

This is a very cool album. Problem is that I don't have much love for those digibooks. I have the Target reissues and the quality of the digibooks leaves a lot to be desired. Hell, I had to glue one of trays back again and I bought them sealed!

Hammerheart's DCD reissue of Malevolent Creation's "The Ten Commandments" can now be bought from Hammerheart Brasil. Apparently Hammerheart can't sell it in Europe, something concerning rights I guess. The other CD contains the demos including the live demo.

SACROSANCT - Recesses For The Depraved DLP

SACROSANCT second album, originally released in 1991. Turmoil of faster-paced moments played with the utmost intensity usually serving as deviations from the heavy monolithic norm which is consolidated with both stomping and very technical riff-patterns. The album is completely remastered by Max Morton and Randy Meinhard at Morton Studios, contains two exclusive bonus tracks and extensive liner notes. Gatefold cover including poster with full original artwork by H.G. Giger on limited brown gold marbled vinyl and black vinyl.

Wouldn't mind having Dissection's Reinkaos released again at some point. I want Black Dragon in my stereos already, and just can't find it anywhere.

Hey Metal Blade, not everything needs to be a digipak. Stop trying to wring out every last cent from CD sales. Thanks.

Yay, finally! I was considering getting the HRR vinyl at some point, but this will be much more suitable for me.

I may have seen this already somewhere on this forum -- I could find the post neither here nor on the other forums I post -- but whatever the case Soulseller is doing the first two Aeternus albums early next year.

Just saw that Barbarian Records from Hungary released the full Kryst The Conqueror sessions as "Soldiers Of Light - The Complete Recordings". Is this a legit reissue? Or even a legit label? Or just a bootleg? I highly doubt they got the rights to those songs from Jerry Only and company...

You know what I'd like to see? I'd like to see Budgie's discography get reissued.

Chemical Breath's debut and Holy Terror's discography were my white whale for the longest time, and those eventually came to be in time. It's now time for Budgie.

All of the Budgie albums got re-released in 2004 on their own label (Noteworthy Productions). These editions sound and look great but can get a little bit pricey.

Yeah I know of those ones, but that was 2004.

I think some new reissues are overdue by now.

The 2004 remaster is very good. The problem with those albums is that they were not sonic masterpieces to begin with. They were recorded pretty poorly and there is not much that can be done with that.

I really wish someone would re-issue a nice remastered for vinyl version of Arch Enemy's "Wages Of Sin" on LP. Would be a good one for Back on Black.

Speaking of Chemical Breath, I heard their second album, Values, should be receiving the reissue treatment soon.

Yeah, that's the last of the reissues Vic was going to do. But as I've said earlier in the thread, I've come to trust Vic Records to eventually come through even if they don't always get stuff out exactly when they originally announce it'll come out. Don't usually have to wait very long if they miss a release date.

So Vic Records won't be doing any more future reissues of albums?

I think he's talking about Chemical Breath in particular, since Vic already reissued the demos and debut album.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Values is the last Chemical Breath reissue to be released, not the last reissue ever lol.

Satan be praised, the best case scenario for reissues is happening to two of the greatest albums of all time. I can at last hurl my wretched remasters to the wind and stop feeling like a dumbass for selling my OG copies years ago.

https://www.metalblade.com/us/news/king ... re-issues/

Quote:
On April 24th, King Diamond will release CD and LP versions of the classic albums Abigail and Fatal Portrait via Metal Blade Records. The vinyl editions feature spined sleeves with an insert and download card; the CDs contain a mini-LP CD-insert with a small fold-out poster.

King Diamond adds, “These are not remasters. These are the albums as they were originally done in the old days from the original production masters. They retain all the original dynamics that were captured at the time. It’s very exciting to present these to fans as they were originally released.”

Hell's Headbangers are handling the reissue of Cianide's fourth album Divide and Conquer. Bit long overdue but definitely one to keep an eye on. https://cianide.bandcamp.com/album/divide-conquer
