Howie from Briton Rites just debuted a track from the as of yet unrecorded second album. And it is every bit as good as the first album. Here's a link to the bandcamp: https://dmrbooks.bandcamp.com/track/bri ... -will-rule. Also Howie is repressing the first album on CD and selling patches to help fund the recording of the second album, here's a link to the NWN where he talks about everything: http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic. ... 48#1337548

For Mircalla was a modern metal masterpiece and hella underrated or atleast under represented in the scene. Just wanted to spread the word on this awesome band and help Howie get the funding he needs, that second album will definitely be an instabuy for me!

I actually just sent him payment for a copy of the debut a couple days ago. I really kick myself for not buying it when it first came off since I really enjoyed it then, and I'll be excited to see how a second one turns out.

Howie is a goddamn riff wizard. Anything he is involved in is going to be something I want to own. He's such an underrated musician.

A few years ago, Howie (or someone) uploaded a demo version of this song and one more (called "The Wizard's Pipe", and a slow crusher of a doom song) to Youtube.

I can't find them anymore, but I was lucky enough to have listened to both extensively at the time, and I hope both will be on this upcoming album. I think I preferred "The Wizard's Pipe" to "In Hell I Will Rule", which is high praise. The demo version was cool, but this is much improved.

I ordered a CD and tape from him yesterday. Even though I already have copies on CD and LP, I'm more than happy to help fund the next album.

Caspian: I spoke with him about that a few days ago actually, and he took those tracks down due to some sort of issue someone had where he was teaching guitar at the time. I didn't ask whether or not he was going to re-upload them, but it would be great to see!

Thanks for all the support guys! I have Briton Rites CDs now, and I should have the Cauldron Born-Born of the Cauldron CD reissue ready in 3 or 4 weeks. Working on the layout now. I will hopefully have patches soon, as well. There are very few Briton Rites vinyl records left, so if you want one grab it and growl. You can contact me at:

Howie will that reissue be different than the reissue done by Stormspell Records? Any bonus tracks/remastering?

For Mircalla is an absolute masterpiece. The riffing is just fucking impeccable. Looking forward to a follow up, especially now that I know it's actually being worked on.

I am taking things one step at a time. I am starting with reissuing some of my old albums on Echoes of Crom and gradually getting active with the label again. Music is a full-time job and kind of a money pit. If I can sell enough of the reissues to finance some new albums I will work towards getting some new music out.

Same tracks as the original recording. No remastering since the Stormspell release. I haven't recorded any new Cauldron Born material to add as bonus tracks. I haven't been active with music since 2012.

Thanks! It has been nagging at me for a while that I never recorded the second Briton Rites album. I think most of the songs I have written for the album are the best songs I have ever made.

Hot damn, does it feel good to pull the trigger on the Born of the Cauldron reissue. That's been a gaping hole in my collection for a stupid long time. Really excited to have it in hand.

I found two Cauldron Born-Born of the Cauldron cassettes in my basement yesterday. I am fairly certain this is the last of them:

https://cauldronborn1.bandcamp.com/merch

This was released some years ago by Sarlaac Productions in Ireland and is long out of print.
