Another "supergroup"? Regardless, they have an EP coming up.

Nick Sagias - vocals, bass
John McEntee - guitars
Randy Harris - guitars
Flo Mounier - drums

Well if Flo Mounier wants to be in a band with everyone on the planet who ever played an instrument I'll keep an eye on my inbox.

Weird. Really good song, but this style of riffing over this style of drumming does not scream "John McEntee" to me. It's so ingrained in my mind that when I hear that name, I automatically hear that classic Incantation sound. And I never viewed him as an artist that would branch out of his comfort zone (see the tension between him and Relapse during the Infernal Storm/Blasphemy era). Kudos to him for trying something new all these years later.

As I said, the song is really good and I am definitely going to seek this EP out.

Flo is playing with just about anyone, anywhere these days it seems.

track was alright overall i guess, but i hate it when extraneous live elements are included in the songwriting like those "hey hey"s on there - the crowd will probably do that when you play live, but it sounds corny as hell on record

I was gonna say, that sounds really goofy in death metal. Track was ok, pretty bland.

Ew. I expect "super" groups to sound better than that. I made it to about the 1 minute mark turned it off. Overly polished, boring, digital death metal. At least Bloodbath can write decent songs.

Thought it would sound more violent than it actually does. Not bad, not impressive (so far).

This just feels very generic. It aight but nothing about this is really standing out.

I'm hearing a lot of Pestilence in this. I don't mind it. I would like to hear some more tracks.

That was the most rock n roll thing I've ever heard John McEntee be a part of. It wasn't good.

The way he says "heretical" reminds me of this.

Cool, 2019 is starting off with a bang! And a blast(beat) or two.

The whole thing sounds really overproduced, but the drums in particular sound like complete ass. Nobody would care about this if it weren't for the names attached.

Haha yeah that was my first thought as well but I didn't want to utter the unutterable. I will add however that Azagthoth and McEntee are my two fave guitarists in death metal; this particular song just sounds ... odd for the latter to be doing. I'll still check out the rest when it comes out.

This is pretty boring. The drum production is stale and lifeless. Riffs are pretty uninspired. Won't bother with anything else from this.

I noticed the melody similarity to Radikult as well.

Nick Sagias played in Pestilence in 1990, though not on a release.

This sounds really bad. Awful drum sound with poor technique. Boring riffs and boring song structure. Fire the drummer, the producer and the song writers. Better yet just fold the band.
