Tomb Mold seem to have gotten a fair amount of attention from their second album, and soon they are releasing their third, via 20 Buck Spin.

Yes, these guys are good. New song is great. One of my favourite new bands, hope to catch them live sometime soon.

I'm excited for this, Manor of Infinite Forms is crazy good, perfectly balanced between weirdness and old-school worship. It feels longer than 40 minutes just because how much awesome it packs.

Saw them in Raleigh on Monday. It was awesome! Had only sampled them until that point and didn't know the drummer was the vocalist, they nailed it! Grabbed the discography and am thoroughly enjoying all of it.

Have to admit I had never heard of this band so I had a listen and came away very impressed. I also watched the review on Banger TV where the reviewer said the best comparison for the album was "Focus". I'm not seeing that at all - am I missing something? Reminded me more of Erosion of Sanity era Gorguts.

Haven't heard the entire album yet, but those two new songs sound pretty promising. I'll keep an eye on this band.

Nah, just another horrific album/band description by someone who is clearly an idiot. I remember once I was told by a metal "critic" that if I liked Fear Factory then I'd like Clutch because they're "very similar" LOL!!

Thought it was just me! You'd think that someone passing themselves off as a professional journalist would have a bit of knowledge and understanding about what they're actually listening to and reviewing.

By the way, if you like Fear Factory I think you'd really like Bob Dylan.

The fact that the BangerTV name wasn't already claimed by a porn site is a fucking shame.

I've even seen reviews written by guys who had clearly not heard the album at hand. Crazy.

Heard the entire album some hours ago and my first impression is rather good! Very captivating shit, yet it should be familiar for those who just like their death metal old skull and simplistic.

My inexperience with death metal would lead me to compare it to Morbid Angel or some other basic band, but this is a great album whatever it's influenced by!

Pitchfork just reviewed it and gave it an 8.0/10. Regardless of what you think about pitchfork, that's huge exposure for a band their size.

Totally loving this album, a great followup to the excellent Manor of Infinite Forms. Still rotten as hell but some cool developments - slightly more expansive and technical without actually being "tech." Three solid albums in three years! Tomb Mold's on a roll.
