Put in my order, so excited to have new Briton Rites material. I know I'll be blasting this one constantly.

Thanks to all you guys who ordered early. Packages shipped today. Occulte Fantastique is now available for digital and CD at bandcamp, as well.

This one arrived in the mail today. Been listening to it constantly since this morning and I'm fucking hooked. Definitely on the same or similar quality level of For Mircalla. Y'all please do not sleep on this if you're into traditional doom metal. Briton Rites are a total deserted island must have with you band.

Underground Power in Germany has placed an order. I will ship the CDs to them on Wednesday.

Favorite track might have to be "Strange But Beautiful" if I'm to pick just one. A weird miasmal haze. Different from your usual stuff.

Love the upbeat stuff in the first few songs too - much more in your face and it's cool. The title song has some amazing moments too.

Whole album rips, but the songs that pull me in the most are Strange but Beautiful, The Witness, and Occulte Fantastique. I really love how the album is structured, with the faster paced material up front, and then things getting more drawn out and weightier as the album progresses.

Empyreal, thanks for letting me know. I'm glad you like it. I like having a lot of uptempo songs on the album. I like some slow doomy tracks, too, but I can't stand a whole album of that. It becomes a gimmick at that point.

Doomicus, I'm glad you caught that. I spend a lot of time thinking about the order of songs on an album. I am a big proponent of the total album experience.

My copy arrived yesterday, so I was able to listen this morning. Really digging "The Wizard's Pipe" and the title track!

Good to hear, especially since I released it so late in the year.

Awesome! Trying to figure out a way to incorporate, "The Wizard's Pipe" into an Argantyr short story. I already used, "The Witness" in a scene from the Argantyr novel I've been working on.

Just found out about this and my policy is basically to play this on repeat till I'm fed up of it.

Howie, you have no idea how pleased I am to welcome a new Briton Rites into this world. Also doubly glad you didn't change that monster guitar sound from 'For Mircalla'. Thank you.

Now let us know when and where the vinyl is coming out :)

Thanks for telling me, Aooga! I am glad you like it. I will see what I can do about a vinyl release, but it may have to be later. I am budgeting for Cauldron Born now. Alex Parra will be bringing his mobile here next week for us to start preproduction on the new Cauldron Born album.

I recently did a video interview with Dennis Eikenkotter on Schwermetallisch Reviews. We talked about Briton Rites, Cauldron Born, horror fiction, sword-and-sorcery, and dinosaurs.

I have to admit I don't recall seeing any of these films. They look like a bit of a laugh tho. What are the names of the movies used?
