This one if still unanswered from me. Added another part to the 'cryptic' bit, with a more generic hint that may help in the spoiler tags. Don't know if it's made it too easy but we'll see. Fictional 80s/90s jock doesn’t want tea - the fictional jock was in a show was set in a US high school. Actor Christian also doesn't want tea.

The first band name that immediately came to mind was Darkspace - just because of this specific way they named their albums, and all of their albums also have similar artwork + similar atmosphere of the music: all of their albums are titled Dark Space, differentiated only by a Roman numeral indicating order of release ... Okay so I'll try my hand, just to pass some time since, seeing some of them on this thread, they'll likely be quite easy: 1. one of the people in a calendar who somehow has a strange obsession with death 2. a Latin word roughly translatable as "from the dead" 3. in war-related videogames, the common name of the shadows (or mist) that hide the unknown (or too far) parts of a map to the player 4. the lady who lived for some time with seven short men... pronounced with a German accent 5. the book that follows Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins 6. "I... am... your father" 7. that exercise with frogs US schools like so much (at least according to TV shows) For a couple of non-metal ones, as a bonus: - a mathematical operation involving a number slightly smaller than the answer to everything - wealthy lads who take hallucinogenic drugs |

Well, I remember there was a thread about something similar on MA forum: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=129509&hilit=Revenge ? Is this correct? That's correct! Ah, it's good, thanks for the answer, - I wanted to know if I understood it correctly. I was not sure about the answer, because I am almost unfamiliar with these subgenres of metal music (they are way too extreme and aggressive (both musically and lyrically/aesthetically) for me tbh), and I have never listened to any albums by Revenge so I don't know anything about the specifics/differences of the styles on the albums from their discography (except that the music is very repetitive in general and is mostly very fast - that's all I remembered from that thread). This game can be interesting not only because you can make the descriptions and/or guess band names and learn some new words (and the meanings of those words)/facts about something in general, but also because it is about favorite metal bands, and there is a wide variety of (sub)genres and styles in musical preferences of MA members who post here, - so it can also be a motivation for checking out/learning about some metal bands/or even some subgenres/styles of metal music that you have not heard of before/or didn't give close attention to, + and it can also refresh your memory and remind you of some metal bands/subgenres that you forgot about. This is great.

Edit: General clue: all four bands play metal of the American variety; stylistic keywords: US power metal, heavy metal, doom(-ish heavy metal). 1. Legendary English punk - off the record. Clue: They all called him nasty. That says it all about him, doesn't it? 2. Sounds a bit like the co-founder and president of Atlantic Records and is the pope's fave. Clue: Two words: 1st: almost a homophone, 2nd: canonised. 5. One's thread was cut by Atropos a long time ago, the other's being watched with Argus eyes. Clue: The names are, perhaps, more insightful than the sentence they're embedded in. Focus on the names. Slash would probably disclose the solution, Axl wouldn't. 6.
