From the song titles and lengths, it looks like it'll be the usual Rotten Sound we all know - at least that's what I'm anticipating. I haven't fully kept up with them since Cursed, as grindcore is very hit or miss for me, but the songs I'd heard since then were all sick as Rotten Sound is one of the grind bands I always enjoy when they're playing. They've never been bad at any point in their career, so I don't anticipate why they'd start sucking now - this will be a good record.

Album length looks pretty lean, and the songs are short even by their standards. I've been a fan for a while and I haven't been disappointed yet, so I'm choosing to believe that it will be a killer album of their best material yet.

Rotten Sound are usually pretty good, even when they're at their worst.
The cover art kinda sucks though, I feel like that style looks so outdated now.

Very excited. Hoping for a brutal assault in the vein of Exit.

They just released the first single. It's more on the midtempo groove laden side, but Rotten Sound always does those sort of tracks well so I'm down with it.

Sounds pretty good - More or less exactly what you'd expect from Rotten Sound anno 2023

Awesome - I've been wondering what they've been up to. I'm excited for this - you know what you're getting from these guys and they don't really pretend to do more than that so I'm sure I'll be content.

Been revisiting this band a lot lately, and actually feel that Abuse to Suffer is one of their stronger albums. Hoping this ends up being in the same category of quality. Will check it out.

The second single seems a little underwhelming to me. It's not bad, just a little stale.

I wasn't going to post in this thread, as I really don't have anything super positive to say, but then I read this and have to agree. When I want to listen to them, which isn't often, I always go for that early, weird-choice picture disc 10" and maybe the From Crust 'Til Grind collection. I think Exit got a lot of positive hype from trusted sources, and "pretty good" is how I remember it.

Third single is out. A short sharp blast of grind in line with the music they've released so far from this album.

After listening to this album a few times I have to say it's one of their best, there's great balance between the blasting and groovier sections along with the uptempo d-beat sections they always throw in.
