Surprised no one posted this yet. Looks like they are releasing a live album (that is more like a compilation of live cuts over the last few years), and added this studio track as a single. Really like the parts, but it feels a little "pasted together" in certain sections. |

I really like this song, although I could do without the solo. That sort of wanky stuff just doesn't sound right in Cradle of Filth. There's also another studio song on the album too. I also like the fact that the tracklist for the live album doesn't contain most of the usual suspects (Her Ghost in the Fog, From the Cradle to Enslave, Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids etc), and instead contains mostly rarer / newer songs. 1. She Is A Fire (new studio track) 2. Heaven Torn Asunder 3. Blackest Magick in Practice 4. Honey and Sulphur 5. Nymphetamine (Fix) 6. Born in a Burial Gown 7. Desire in Violent Overture 8. Bathory Aria 9. The Death of Love (bonus track) 10. Demon Prince Regent (new studio track) 11. Heartbreak and Seance 12. Right Wing of the Garden Triptych 13. The Promise of Fever 14. Haunted Shores 15. Gilded Cunt 16. Saffron's Curse 17. Lustmord and Wargasm (The Lick of Carnivorous Winds) 18. You Will Know the Lion By His Claw (bonus track) |

My only complaint is I would have released a new song that prominently features the new vocalist. But what they gave us, I like. All this talk about "our first live album in 20 years" reminds me I never got around to hearing Eleven Burial Masses / Live Bait for the Dead. |

Song is pretty good. There are a couple awkward transitions though, I think they should've given it more time and smoothed it out. Still quite like it though - it's fun and the video's pretty neat. Will probably preorder this... Saw them on their "Cryptoriana" tour (Cryptouriana?) and Dani sounded like he was at his best since at least the early 00s in terms of vocals. Also, yeah, I'd like to hear more vocals from their newest female vocalist. Maybe she'll last for more than one album. It kinda sucks that Anabelle left after "Existence is Futile", I honestly thought she was their best female vocalist since Sarah. |

Am I the only one who really digs this song? I'm a sucker for later-era CoF, after they got back on track and started releasing decent material... I still like their older stuff, but I find myself listening to Hammer of the Witches more than Cruelty and the Beast these days, which I know is blasphemy to some |

The song is pretty decent, and it's at least good enough to make me wanna check out the upcoming live album. |

I think they've been on a massive W streak since Hammer Of The Witches, as well. |

I thought people preferred HOTW. Now if you’re like me and think Godspeed>Cruelty then I’m sure people will think you’re crazy. |

I checked them out (this song in particular) and was immediately reminded of Leaves' Eyes. Not bad. I wanna hear her do some spooky narration in a COF song now. Also, the last three albums were on par with their classic 94-00 era in my opinion. Nothing wrong with listening to "Hammer" more than "Cruelty". My personal favorite of the current era has gotta be "Cryptoriana", though. |

Not a chance, but it is very, very good, as are the last two new albums they've released since, particularly the newest which is my favourite of the bunch. |

Quite stale and completely underwhelming. COF did that same shtick probably a 1000 times already, some of them much better than this piece of redundancy. |

I really like the song. It has the atmosphere I always appreciated with the band plus some really good riffs. Count me to the crowd that likes the guitar solo as well. |

Dont understand why Queen Of Winter Throned isnt on live sets, considering its probably regarded as their best song. I was never a huge fan of Her Ghost In The Fog or From The Cradle To Enslave, they were the beginnings of the move into their 2000s era, which I was not a fan of at all. |

It's a good song but the visuals overwhelm the music, and what's with another video with no actual footage of the band! The idea of a live album isn't very interesting, but some songs being recorded in Aus makes it a trifle more inticing. Maybe. |

They played Queen of Winter, Throned on the Hammer of the Witches tour, which is included in the time frame that this album draws from. It was also on their last live album. I think I'm right in saying that none of the songs on this live album were on the last live album, so perhaps the idea was to have no repeats. |

This song is now stuck in my head, it's very melodic and a nice continuation of the sound from their last LP. I very much appreciate those videos without band members playing their instruments; it's more cinematic this way. Has anyone heard Demon Prince Regent, the other new song? It looks like Youtube hasn't indexed it yet. |

The track list is pretty nice (and I have now preordered the gold vinyl in particular), but I do wish "Wester Vespertine" was included. They played it when I saw 'em in 2019 and it's probably my favorite track they've done over these last three albums. Great riffs and a cool spoken part that definitely gave me "Cruelty and the Beast" vibes. Also, I don't think "Demon Prince Regent" has been released yet. I assume it'll either be put out closer to the album's release date or *on* the album's release date. |

The less Cryptoriana, the better for me. That album just doesn't click with me at all. Heartbreak and Seance is the best they could've picked from that batch at least though. I'm disappointed Under Huntress Moon didn't make the cut. |

I like what I've heard so far, but damn, how does a mistake like this happen? The Death of Love sounds perfect for the first 4:20, then glitches and goes silent for the remaining few minutes. Happens on Spotify too. |

Yeah, that happened to me this morning. According to Reddit, it should now be fixed. Have to hope physical copies weren't affected. |

Jeez this had some really great parts. Loved the solo. This has made me want to listen to their more recent albums. And Dani's voice always sends me to a happy place |
