I am going to be launching my own Metal YT channel soon. I'm looking for others to do collaborations with and bounce ideas. I have some fun video ideas but they wouldn't work without other people. If anyone's got one and would be interested in partnering up, please get in touch.

Direct question :
What's the easiest software to use for video editing if you're a complete novice? I am using VSDC which I get on with, but I am confident there's more efficient programs out there.

Hi... well, I don`t know what instrument you play and how well you play or what kind of ideas you have.
But I`m often collaborating with different musicians.

We make high quality covers. Our most recent is Peace Sells. You can watch it here:

And I use only two softwares to make these videos. Bandlab Cakelwalk for mixing and Davinci Resolve for video editing. And yes I definitely recommend Davinci
for video editing. With the free version you can do a lot and with the paid version even more.
I`m using the free version for now.

Hey there, I'm a new YouTube creator as well, and much of what I discuss in my videos comes from online research on various obscure bands.

As of right now, I am using CapCut to edit my videos. It's pretty straightforward and user-friendly for someone who is starting out, though I'll probably eventually move up to something a bit more sophisticated (like that Davinci Resolve that Rockerr suggested).

I have had a youtube channel where I have talked about metal and horror movies since 2017 or 2018. Channel is called Dark Hymns From The Cold North, if you wanna check it out. Good luck to you with your new channel.
