In the early 2000's there was only one other metal forum that matched Metal Archives, and it had a tight knit community that would often become close friends.


Its now gone, so don't consider this advertisement. Im just wondering if any of my old homies are still out there. Flying Salt, Pistolita, Butter (you introduced me to Windir... that had an impact on me).. lionheart. Kkiback, the mysterious owner of the forum that never posted.

I'm not familiar with that forum, but there are others that I remember that no longer exist. One I used to frequent about 15 years ago was HMS (Heavy Metal Society).

Geocities is where it's at. If your band didn't have a Geocities page then your cassette wasn't getting entry to my boombox.
