Which of them? To me the cover with a bird looks very harsh and depressing at the same time.
But maybe it's because I'm always very emotional about everything that is related to dead/injured birds, much more emotional than with any other kinds of living species...
I understand that it's more like the cover has some kind of symbolism (i.e. something like - a white dove is a symbol of peace that is stuck/ended up in a "war" that is a harsh metal wire. Or is it something religious-related? Then I know nothing about this kind of symbolism.), but I'm not familiar with music and lyrics on this album and therefore this cover makes me think of something that literally causes the death of birds instead - something like wind power plants (that are better for the climate but at the same time whose blades can kill flying birds).
There are also unscrupulous agrarians/farmers who wanted to get rid of rodents in the fields by using poison, which leads to "secondary" mass death of birds, and there are no really existing and effective laws+procedures to prevent agrarians/farmers from doing this/to force them to bear criminal (or at least administrative) responsibility committed, at least in the country where I live.
There is also mass cutting down of trees in forests, draining swamps, etc.

(I've also recalled the album cover on Katatonia's "Brave Murder Day" - that always reminds me of those dead birds which I saw in winter in the region where I live. You can help birds survive the winter by feeding them regularly, but you also have to cope with the fact that many of them will die in the coldest/the snowiest periods of season)
(sorry for the offtopic)
I've recalled this album -
https://leucosis.bandcamp.com/album/leucosis, which also has a white bird (but alive and unharmed) and something war-related on the cover - I like this cover and I also find the music relatively interesting, but I'm not a fan of those particular screaming vocals on the album.
