Any one check this out? I’m from the maritimes and I try to keep up on local music, so this is my down home jam. This is pretty necro at times, other times it’s more heavy on the punk. One of my favorite releases last year along with mortuary drape, negative plane and ares kingdom. There’s some really good second wave black metal going on here. I also appreciate how the vocals sound, sometimes they layer them quite excellently in this album over top of panzerfaust riffs. Check this out if your a black metal fan. |

Listened to this album and it's pretty decent for what it is. Not sure if it's something I would revisit often but if you're in the mood for mid to late 90s Darkthrone worship there are worse options. |

Bought the CD as I lived briefly in Moncton around 2003-2004 where I got into their metal-scene and Funeral Fog was a immidiate must-buy back then! I think this album might be their best (Channeling Ancient Shadows was pretty great too). Love that the songs are abit shorter and more references to the first wave (Bathory most obviously with tracks like Blasphemous Whore and Night Of Damnation). Good stuff |
