Dave Burk, the guitarist for Devastation, passed away in his sleep over the weekend. Really unfortunate news. Signs of Life and Idolatry are two classic thrash metal albums. |

Sad, indeed. Those two albums are indeed classics..."Idolatry" is among the greatest thrash albums ever, IMO. |

That sucks. Both Signs of Life and Idolatry are definitely brilliant thrash records that deserve more love. Gonna be blasting both tonight out of respect. |

Been away from MA for a while and found out just now. Damn, he singlehandedly became one of my favourite thrash guitarists thanks to those two albums. Idolatry is still my personal best old school LP. It's incredible to see how much he and the rest of the band had evolved in such a short span. May you R.I.P. legend. |

That's a shame. I really liked 'Signs of Life' back in those days (the vocals were a bit mediocre though). |
