Dont mind the errors about the band, i've sent some correct info, so i hope it's going to be fixed pretty soon.

Bloodfart's first demo : http://users.skynet.be/bloodfart/tekst/ ... EMO-CD.htm

Despite the band's name, it's deathmetal with some technical riffing in it. (check out track 4)

I drawned their covers, so i'm 100% sure this is legal for download.

Positive feedback? Where?

It's about as bland as it gets. The "drumming" is completely horrible (what is that? a toilet + cooking pans?) and the production is beyond terrible. The vocals are okay and the guitars are bearable, but these are the most positive things about this "demo".

Please avoid it.

Those are all albums from Brian Voth's one-man project Fireaxe. He mentions in his online newsletter (at the bottom) that his music can be freely distributed to others as long as no profit is made.

Altar Of Plagues

www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=85064

Amazing post-Black Metal band from Cork, Ireland. So fucking good actually that Attilla gave them a full support slot on Mayhem's UK tour with no label or managerial support. Sounds like a mix of Ulver and Cult Of Luna.

The download is on the left hand side of their page;

http://www.myspace.com/altarofplagues

Also, they were interviewed in the most recent issue of my zine;

http://www.myspace.com/blazeinthenornsky

Anti-profit label with some releases and "official bootleg"-type live recordings from various Norwegian bands such as Orcustus, Slavia, Lidskjalv, Amok and some early stuff by Sweedish melo-death band Dispatched.

Spawns of the Indus - The Essential Pakistani Metal compilation.

http://metalseinen.com/blog/archives/190

All of the songs featured on it were already free downloads and we put them together in a compilation of 4 parts. All downloads band sanctioned (or so I've been told by my friend who runs the blog with me..) Part III was made by me and part I, II and IV were made by my friend Asadullah Qureshi.

Thanks for all the links; I have plenty of new material in the library. My top recommendation would have to be Torture Division. Brutal stuff, and they have a new Christmas single out with a W.A.S.P cover I believe.

This is a (and the only) EP demo from the British industrial raw black metal group Taken By Wolves entitled Howling for War.
This demo was free to download on their official page. Their website is not in service anymore so instead, I have a upload of the album on megaupload:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=97YT5UU8

Once again, this has been a sanctioned download by the band. I uploaded it because the site is no longer up online. Plus, I talk with the members of the band here and there (also apart of Hordes of Satan) and they even told me they didn't mind me uploading the demo.

Anyway yes, this group featured members of the drone/doom metal group Hordes of Satan. It also featured members of Iron Monkey and Pitchshifter. Iscariah of Immortal (Nor)/Necrophagia fame does backing vocals on the bands demo as well. Raw stuff with simple drum machines, definitely recommended for anyone here. Four tracks total.
