Really great mixture of prog, melodic and tech death metal.

This band is fantastic, a little same-y at times but an excellent over-all group, captivating atmosphere. And they're Canadian... bonus. Thank you for posting this, sir. :metal:

You're very welcome. Actually, one of my Canadian buddies introduced me to them. Glad you enjoy them.

I highly reccomend this for fans of Rotting Christ, Amorphis, Dissection and Katatonia. The riff to "Care Of The Dead" has been stuck in my head for weeks since listening to this

I like this instrumental EP, quite good. Folks that download this but want vocals should check their Myspace page and listen to the unreleased songs, they're pretty solid low-fi black metal... though the Transilvanian Hunger cover is lackluster in my opinion. Anyway, decent band.

Speaking of instrumental EPs, I recommend what I'm currently listening to - Arpa, by Aras (from Iran). In the link section of his Metallum page there's a link to a blog with his discog there - I' guess it's sanctioned, I don't know... but that EP is excellent.

Hi folks! Long time lurker, first time poster.

I would like to share MY bands newest album with you folks. We are called Lafcadio. The album is called Kibosh. Our drummer quit a few months ago. You should probably read some of the reviews I posted before you DL it, because this is definitely not for everyone.

Here is a link to Kibosh:

http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?nnm32zdwyzw

Here is our MySpace:

http://www.myspace.com/lafcadiomusic

Some info/reviews:

"Fans of everything from Deadguy to Jesus Lizard could find something here to dig into. Lafcadio are an original and odd metal band that couldnt have released this album at a better time. If you are sick of all of the sound-alike bands around right now, give this a try."
-UnboundZine.com

"I don't generally tell people not to listen to things. But let's be honest - if you are all about the simple pop song, or don't understand why free jazz is so cool, then you just are not going to get this album at all. But if you enjoy heavy music that really makes the listener become involved with the musical experience, then you are going to love this CD. Lafcadio has once again managed to cross several boundaries on one compact disk, and I look forward to seeing them do these songs in a live environment.
-Tommy Miller

"In a nutshell, Lafcadio could be described as King Crimson meets Dillinger Escape Plan meets Black Flag meets Black Sabbath meets Shel Silverstein. If you're not immediately turned off by the threat of that, then their new album Kibosh is probably for you."
-Bob Vinyl at RNR Nonsense

"...if I had never heard The Dillinger Escape Plan's Calculating Infinity then I would probably love the album. Usually I can get past influences, but when a band goes past being influenced and borders on plagiarism, well, you know they are out of hand."
-Jackson Glass for Delusions of Adequacy

"Kibosh has all the bite you'd expect from a pack of wild hyenas without all that noisy barking and howling. They've also taken the high road and stayed away from the Southern rock tend. It's heavy, stiff and structured math metal with just the right amount of melody and brute force."
-Evil Needles/Prick Magazine

"Sure, it's all over fairly quickly, but there's enough frenzied activity crammed into Kibosh to have you hitting play again the instant it comes to a stop. Highly recommended."
-Jack Chuter @ SonicFrontiers.net

Mannfall - Join der Kvlt

Mannfall - Demo

Wiccademous - Demo

In Cripta - Scuip In Pocalul Tau

In Cripta - Cantece din alte planuri

In Cripta - ...Racnind cele mai cumplite blasfemii

In Cripta - Krapat a Kripta

Fel - Orynde De Yne Blaeke Kyninge

Fel - Nigromantic Summonings From the Veiled Forest of Shadows

Fel - The Wanderer

Muldjord's complete discography (basically two EPs) is available for free download here: http://www.muldjord.com/index2.php

This is some top-notch blackened death, I'm enjoying it a lot. Also, the cover of "Hate Breeds Hate" is just badass.
