I wouldn't go more than a $100 USD. $30 seems like a reasonable amount to pay for most OOP items.

Something is bothering me like, what if you can't find any stuff on the Internet for some rare albums/demos like Moonblood's The Winter Falls Over the Land? How much possibly would these demos/releases cost these days if you ever find a seller?

It's almost impossible to find authentic MB demo tapes, but on eBay you can find some "so-called" original every once in a while.
As far as I heard, all the tapes was self-made, so it's really hard to know if a tape is original or not. The LPs are selling from 70 to 1200 usd ;)

I guess it's really hard to know if a self-released Moonblood demo is authentic. Thank you for the information.

Seriously, Morbid Saint. You don't even know the exact date they broke up and what happened to them after the break up.

Dave (Rotten) used to license his Drowned Productions releases through Hard Vinyl. Legal issues, you know.

Doesn't get much higher than this in the metal realm. I saw another one of these go off for I think $1500.

$76 for Razor "Shotgun Justice" on eBay now. Search for it, it's the only one.

 pray tell, which one (drooling for the investment side of the matter).

http://www.metal-archives.com/release.php?id=164083 - This is it.

I picked it up out of a box because the cover is genius, flipped it over and saw what bands were on it and thought "classic". I bought it for my bf as he is a massive NWOBHM freak, then looked it up when we got home and saw some distro selling it for $120 Euros. I should have kept it for myself!!

I had two compilations in mind that I knew went for about that much (continually) and that was one of them. That IS a nice grab. It's very sellable and sought after, and I probably would've held onto it for a few years to see the flow of supply and demand. Admittedly though, I sometimes have a hard time letting go of things.

Unfortunately, the price has gone down considerably -

Not necessarily, I found Slave Whipping Blasphemy's album on a P2P network and only 10 copies of that were ever produced.

It's actually not that bad sounding for an unproduced KKK-themed Statanic band.

If any mp3-releaser group can obtain a copy, it will be on p2p, if not, well that's bad luck. That's why I used to worship Gravewish (the group) and B.E.RC. and the others.

The only rarities I've got are from a hardcore band in NSW.

Demo - cost me nothing
Debut EP - cost me $10, first edition
7" release - 59/100, green vinyl - $10

I don't see why someone would spend such a ridiculous amount of money on a "rarity" unless it was really, really, amazing.
