Either you're one of the biggest spammers ever, or you're the fucking guy selling these items on e-bay.
Prove me wrong.
Anybody showed you interest in all these floodin' posts. Why the hell persevering?

Just thinking about hiring couple of guys who will search all heavy music related deals on eBay and post here all of them which costs more the 50 bucks.
Does it have any sense? Somebody need a job?

What's your problem with my posts!? Who are you!?
its better you act like mature guy, are you really "43" years old!!?
Because you are newbie here, you don't know, why this topic was created and most of users posted ebay's link here! check older pages.

It doesn't actually sound that great, but the main reason I grabbed it was the fact that according to the page linked, it was limited to 36 copies. Does this make it worth anything? Obviously something is only worth what someone is willing to pay, or is it actually likely to be as rare as it says?

So just an update. It arrived today. As predicted, it is printed home colour printer style inlay, and the CD is the green surface writable type, with a pressed band and album name. The inside where the lyrics are printed appears to have the band members signatures though, written in biro. So it is quite possible that it is indeed a very limited release.

Trademe. It's basically the local Ebay equivalent. The seller is a regular who sells all sorts of music CDs, but with a sizable amount of metal stock among it all.

If you can get past the poor production values and scrappy performances, it sounds like there's a reasonably ambitious death metal album hiding in there.

sth? Sorry, but I don't know what you mean. In the liner notes it has in bold "Limited Edition CD-Not for Resale". If you want I can take some pictures of the package. But tomorrow, its damn late here and I'm tired!

Allright, just asking because cd-r's are not exactly known for longevity.

I know, I used to have a demo of a band I know. But the surface of the CD developed a kind of murky "warped" effect, and became unplayable. I'm guessing surely this also has something to do with how it stored? Moisture maybe?

There has to be a STORY or whatever, otherwise the seller just can't be serious, I mean, hey, a promo tape.....

Does anyone know anything about this? And the MATCH, is it for the purpose to burn down a church?

You're probably right, though still; fifty real pounds for shipping from the UK to Aussieland is still outrageous for a tape

Perhaps it's to burn said tape after you realize you bought something by RATM?

hahaha, it is funny indeed. But still, I wish to dig out the truth behind this. What brings to this seller's mind for putting a tape with such a price?

So far $50 and a few bucks for shipping is the most I've paid for an individual record. The second press/black border edition of the Mercyful Fate EP. I had no idea how affordable the second press was. The white border is like $250+....I'll be alright.

I'm always curious how sellers come up with insane prices like these on CDs that aren't that rare. Is it just lack of knowledge and doing no research whatsoever? Turns out this person has quite a few auctions with wacky prices, like this one:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dark-Tranquillity-Fiction-CD-2007-Century-Made-in-Japan-NEW-NIB-SW-Toys-Factory-/222052984320?hash=item33b363a600:g:MfcAAOSwYlJW5ghg

$120.00??? I would think a seller would be lucky to get what a typical brand new Japanese release gets for that album... in the $20-30 range. Maybe a *little* more since it's still sealed. It's not rare and certainly doesn't have any special songs on it that haven't been included on reissues.
