Not really sure about this one, but I was listening to this track New World Disorder by Kurwen and got hit by massive deja vu, though I am very positive I've never listened to this band before. So is this a cover? Or am I mistaking the riffs with an eerily similar song? Jeez, this is killing me.

I remember liking this one brutal death metal/goregrind album a lot back in the days, but then I temporarily grew out of death metal and didn't listen to the brutal stuff at all for a few years. Now I've re(/de)generated my taste, and would like to hear it again. As mentioned, it was brutal DM or goregrind, and I remember it was from South America but I'm not completely sure if it was Brazilian. It featured a fat blob of lard next to a bathtub like in the pic below (assuming I remember the album cover correctly):
Spoiler: show

There was most likely a lot of blood and gore everywhere etc., but I can't remember the colour scheme of the album art, so you can only have a black and white version.

Sounds like an attempt at ripping off Keep of Kalessin with the most generic melodeath riffs ever

Anyone know if this is an album cover for this band or just a design for the t-shirt? Also looking for help with identifying this band.

Manegarm's debut fits your description as well except for the poorly drawn bit

Sorry for late reply. I appreciate the help but neither of these are it. Though I actually found it by scrounging the Similar Artists section for Manegarm haha.

It was "The Fangs of the Southern Death" by WolfChant.

Not as poorly drawn as I remember, but still pretty lame. Good demo though.

I'm looking for a death metal or brutal death metal band that released an album with female opera singing instead of growling and screaming. I'm pretty sure the album cover was yellow with a bunch of people crucified on it.

I saw a CD in a thrift store a few months ago. It had the image of Jesus being hit with a hammer on it.

(I wanted to listen to it but I knew it would have upset one of the friends I was with, but it was gone when I returned.)

Just listened last night and I was amazed. Wish I had picked it up. Next trip to the thrift shop I'm bringing my portable CD headset from ages ago so I don't sleep on a good CD.

Does anyone know the name of a depressive black metal band in which I think there was only one member and he dedicated the entire album to his dead mother? One of the songs of the album was a kind of instrumental depressive piano song

So I'm looking for an album, and the only thing besides the genre (death metal-ish) I can give as a lead is a general description of the cover art:

A blurry depiction of what look like flesh eating plants (think giant venus flytrap) in a dark green/blue hue. Pretty sure it has one review. You're a god if you can help me with this.

Edit: FOUND IT! It was the self-titled from Lurk. Death/doom/sludge from Finland. Cover art matching my description in only the vaguest of terms....

hey, im looking for an album/ep that i came across sometime (like 10 years ago i guess) on youtube. i been looking for this band since. all i remember is:

- i guess it was a death metal band (but not sure)

- the coverart was in a dark blue/greyish color

- the main element on the artwork was some kind of jaw or false teeth or something like that

- the coverart was in a cgi look and that leads me to think that the album/ep was from around the mid 2000s

- i always thought the band or album name had the world "maul" in it (unfortunatly not sure about that either)

- i guess it was a relatively unknown band

im afraid thats about everything i remember... i still cant sleep at night because i wasnt able to find it yet so this forum is my last straw!!! i would be soo grateful if somebody could help me with that!

I made a thread asking about a Nargaroth song but it wasn't approved. Maybe it should be moved here. Anyway im looking for a Nargaroth song which begins with an intro of church bells of sorts, and then the guitars I remember being fuzzy like on Rasluka. This was like 10 years ago so I dont remember, I have searched on Raskula i and ii and others and I can't find it, im not even sure if I may be tripping and imagining things and mixing other songs of other bands and whatnot.

Trying to look for an old song that I used to listen to.

- I'm fairly certain the band was Polish, or at least from a neighboring country.
- They played folk metal, although this song in particular had no electric guitars featured.
- The song was less than 3 minutes in length
- Either the band name began with an O, or the song title did (most likely the song title)
- The song had female vocals, although I can't remember if she was a member of the band or a guest.
- The album that featured this song came out in the mid 2000s, I want to say 2005.

I know this isn't a lot to go on, but even if you guys give me anything close I'll be sure to find it.

Edit: Nevermind, it's the song Feats of War by Suidakra. I was off on half of my description, I doubt you guys would have gotten it.

I'm looking for a brutal death metal album I used to listen to several years ago.

- I wanna say their name was Visceral *something*. I've looked through the search results without success
- I remember the album has some surprisingly long songs, I think one was like 7:30
- the vocalist occassionally used this snoring vocal style sort of like the vocalists of some gore/porngrind bands

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am looking for a (newer?) thrash song that has the lyric (and i'm paraphrasing)

I wasn't looking for a fight, but I'm (?? maybe 'down to get it right'?)

I thought for sure it was Exodus, but now I'm not so sure.

I’ve been trying to remember a track. I believe it’s by a death metal artist, it was an instrumental tribute song they released on one of their albums, I think it’s called “ death is only the beginning” or something similar. It was about a former band member who passed away. Any insight would be much appreciated

I'm looking for a specific song by Ningen-Isu- the main thing I remember about this song is that at the 2/3 of the song singer does a "maniac" laughter while no instrument is playing at this moment. It's fast-paced song relative to these guys. It shouldn't be more than 5 minutes as I recall. Unfortunately I don't remember any of the lyrics since it's in Japanese- maybe there's a "y" in the song's name and I think they say the words "ashita" and then "kage" in the chorus :(

Ok, found it- it's the second song from their 1991's album :)

EDIT: I finally remembered. The name of the band is Scat Injection. The 5 song demo is called Cockoballizm.

This may be a tough one. I am trying to remember the name of a band. I used to have about 5 of their songs on a usb drive so I could play along the drum tracks on my Roland electric drum set, but the usb has failed. I thought the band name had "scat" somewhere in the title like Scatgasm or Scatagorism or something, but I just can't seem to find them. I can't remember the names of the songs either, but they were pretty gross. I first heard them on youtube. It was either 2004 or 2008. The videos pictured a static image of what I believe was the demo cover which was black and white and I think it had a red border with the name of the band on top. I believe the video description said they were from Russia. I think their 5 or so songs were all they had. The music was among the heaviest Inever heard in my life and was quite satisfying. The vocals sounded pitch shifted and the tempo was middle with occasional blasts. No pig squeals, although the second track had a sample of what sounded like a pig squeal as part of the intro. They kinda sounded like Cock and Ball Torture, but a bit heavier with the guitar tuning. I think they were probably influenced by the German band Gut, though they did have their own sound. Their songs were in the vein pornogrind or goregrind. I'm in shock that I have forgotten, but I haven't played my drums in a while and whenever I did I never looked at the names of the songs.

A Brutal Death album that maybe had some slam elements in it. I found it in a forum here, and people were complaining about posting too many album cover images.
The album cover was green. They probably were green vines and there was a yellow statue of a curvy woman standing in the middle. There were two more statues to her left and right at the back.
Also, if i remember correctly, the band name was made up of two words. Like - 'Visceral Disgorge', 'Guttural Engorgement' etc.

Ive got one more, though this one is a bit more vague in my mind - It was probably death metal. I had stumbled across it, again, in a forum about 'crazy vocals' or something here somewhere.
The band had a green logo and it was a single word. The album art was black and really grimy and from a top down view, if i remember correctly, a creature was coming out of a well or something. The music was pretty reverby and cavey and there were high, inhuman shrieks thrown here and there.

Edit - Cerebral Effusion and Wormphlegm

Not the entire video, but the second half of it. I'm not sure what band this is, but I really want to know because I love what I'm hearing. Doesn't appear to be Devil Childe, since none of the reissues have any of this material included, it seems. Doesn't really seem like that band's material musically, either, though it's certainly possible.

Does anybody know how's it called this type of choir singing where all the members go "hmmm"?

Take Stratovarius' "The Lost Saga" as an example @ 10:40
