Hi everyone.
I am trying to figure out something about two songs, that has been stuck in my head for probably 20 years, and i have tried google, and youtube, but nothing was found

I believe i got this tape around 1992/93, so of course the music is released before 1992/1993.

Can you give us an idea of genres to help narrow things down? Were they death, thrash, black, heavy metal etc.?

Somehow it reminds me of Manowar style of metal, if that helps any

what is that death metal album that just came out this week with the artsy album art with the melted face? Looks the artist would be the guy from the new Psycroptic or Bell Witch albums.

The song in question is ¨I Know You Hate Me.¨ The third lines in both the verse and chorus, well, WTF THEY SAYING? look, just get the the dlyrics to the whole damn song, please.
Even the omniscient Google is too stupid to know the lyrics.

https://youtu.be/PI2DqqdTm2A This is the Youtube link to the f**?**? song. Oh, by the way, who in the @#$# was Asphyxia anyway?

Hey folks! I got one from the 80's, possibly early 90's that, for the life of me, I cannot remember. This one has been bugging me for years! Me and buddy of that time spent hours trying to figure out what it was. I spent hours on spotify going through similar artists.

It was an EP. I am pretty sure the album cover was all black with a white logo or sign on it. When I saw Danzig's debut and their EP, I actually thought I found it but alas. Wrong genre. I also think it was actually the band logo centered and Danzig's cover isn't like that. But it resembles something I remember.

Oke, so this was a long time ago and none of what I actually think I remember might actually be correct so take it with a little grain of salt.

The song I'm after is (or starts) acapella. Vocals are actually singing (if you wanna call it that :P) but with a heavy, brutal grunt. Long hauls, kind of slow, melodic. It used to give me stupid chills and bumps.

I think the band was death metal.
I somehow think they were a German band.

Extremely unsure about this, but for some reason I think the song was something about (or title?), Ode to Farmer Joe, Ode to Joe, Ode to a Farmer?

I can't remember anything else, sorry. I guess it's going to be a stretch ;-).

C'mon guys, make my day!

Thanks!

Animetal USA mixes old anime music with metal songs and in this one they play a metal riff at 3:25 but I can't figure out where it comes from. Any help will be appreciated.

Sounds like this old german band called Rage. I don't know their material well enough to pinpoint the exact song, but sounds similar to "Invisible Horizons".

The similarity can't be denied, but I don't think that's the song they used. Thanks.

Does anyone remember that name of a Doom metal band that formed in the 70s but only had one demo? I think they're still active today. I think they had a lot of drug problems. Anyone know what im talking about?

Dying to hear this band again, I combed over a couple of searches here but couldn't find much.

I recall they were an instrumental band that was a cross between experimental and power metal, and that one of their albums had a shitty purple and green cover that maybe had a circle in the middle. I think the name was 2 or 3 words. Might have had something to do with Annihilation or a synonym of the word. Very underappreciated.

For some reason, every time I think of them, Stratovarius pops in my head. I know I'm really grasping at straws here but any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Trying to remember an album. I heard it around 2006 or so. Black metal. The cover was a black & white picture of a "dead" lady in a bathtub. I worked at a record store and for some reason, I think it was near the end of the alphabet... maybe started with a "V". Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's driving me nuts. Thanks in advance!

Well that's a pretty typical solo move for power metal, and I bet there's been solos similar to that even played by Iron Maiden and Judas Priest.
But I'm not sure why you think this particular solo is not their original material and has to come from some other bands music.

Here's Racer X, at 0:41 there's similar solo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8ZcPpnAHYY
etc.

I’m trying to find this death metal abum (mid-late 90’s I believe) with a traditional (non digital painting/color drawing of a guy killing people or kids on a playground. I’ve seen it a number of times but just can’t remember it for the life of me

Thanks!

Hello everyone,

I am looking for this song. It was used as the entrance music of pro wrestler Ravage at the event "Don't Eat the Black One", held by CHIKARA on March 19th, 2005.

It shares similarities with "A Walk Thru the Woods" by Mortal Treason.

Cheers.

Sounds like you uploaded that, made it purposely vague, and are using it as self promotion.

Not smart claim. Just an audio, without any information behind it. If it's so unknown and no one knows it, then how it helps to promote it? Mutually exclusive and pointlessly.

I'm trying to remember this one power metal album. It had a light-brownish album cover with a stranded old ship on it, and I think one of the lyrical themes was pirates. It was definitely not anything like Alestorm, however, I think it was more progressive than that.

EDIT: Immediately after posting this, I just remembered it was Salt by Wuthering Heights.

I remember listening to a song that sounded like a (progressive / technical) thrash metal cover of Rush's YYZ, specifically the guitar part around second 6 here https://youtu.be/LdpMpfp-J_I?t=6

I could have sworn it was a cover by Coroner, but I can't find it anymore. Maybe it wasn't a cover and just had a similar guitar part, or maybe it wasn't even a song by Coroner, I can't remember. Any guesses for a cover or song similar to YYZ, that could sound like a Coroner's song (especially with the style of this album https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3dAavsgnVg) ?

I'm looking for an album/band, whose cover art is very similar to the Limbonic Art's Moon in the scorpio one. It's exactly the same concept: A human figure standing on the edge of a cliff with a full moon behind, I'd say it's almost a copy. I know it's from a kind of recognized black metal band similar to Panopticon, but I just can't remember it's name. Thanks

I'm searching for a song called "Dragonfire". I know it came out late 90s early 2000s (pre 2004 for sure). I thought it was a song from Winter Sun the pre-dated their self titled album due to ID# tag that was on the song, but I can't find anything that supports this so it was probably labeled wrong. The song is similar to the In Flames's song "Moonshield". While the song itself isn't particularly special I suppose, it has sentimental value to me, and I keep forgetting about the song, and when I remember it again I always go on a search for it, but never with any luck.

I obtained it from through a service called "Kaza" which was like Limewire before Limewire was a thing. Not exactly proud of that part, but it did help me discover some great metal bands in a time when I was too young to drive or own a credit card and there were no stores within 60 miles that sold metal music.

Sorry, not the one I was looking for. I remember one part where the guy guts the lady, then hugs her body and kind of dances with her, he then masturbates to her body.

hello guys. there is a fake band called Baalzephon(Embrace the Rational) from Antalya, Turkey. Couple years ago we found out that its not even a music project. Its just a guy who steals songs from unknown bands in mp3 format and releases them under his own name. We found that 3 of his songs belongs to Svabhavat but we cant find the remaining ones. So can you help me out for finding the actual names of the songs and bands?
I want to suppor the actual bands because these songs are really good.
Songs are these:

I'm trying to find out the name of a Doom metal band that toured in the U.S. around 2013 (they're not a huge band), and I can not remember the name of the band for the life of me. I thought they had toured with Esoteric, Velnias, & Saturnalia Temple but that seems not to be the show. It had to be around then though, seeing as I confused the two shows.

I also thought they were from a Mediterranean/Latin country, but after scrolling through every Death/Gothic Doom band in Italy, Spain, and Portugal I couldn't find them (I know they're not French). I know this is kinda like explaining hundreds of bands, but I remember they had stylized A's in their name (sort of like Greek Alpha A's) & the album cover with the song that I liked was red. I just remember one particular song on the album was fucking killer and I want to listen to it again. I wish I could remember more. Anyone? Thanks!
