Does anyone know where I can find some of The Black Dahlia Murder's early stuff, if at all possible? I kind of doubt the 2002 "Metal Blade" demo had more than a few copies, but then again all demos tend to have very low numbers. I've tried ebay and the closest thing I got was an advance copy of Miasma. They might make a demo compilation in the future, but in the mean time, any suggestions? |

They're not hard to find at all if you download. The real copies sell on for ebay for $100+. Here's their Cold Blooded Epitaph EP. http://www.mediafire.com/?ulkfthv2wxm |

http://spreadingthesickness.blogspot.co ... a%20Murder all their cds, including the 2 demos. edit: the link to What a Horrible Night to Have a Curse Demo, 2001 does not work, but the other demo does. Have you tested them out? I want to be 100% sure they won't fuck-up my computer. I'm usually fine with downloading stuff from mediafire if its directly from an independent artist, since they'd probably not want to have their shit corrupted. But for "mainstream" artists, even for demos, I'm a bit reluctant. I downloaded one of Infected Mushroom's albums and my computer just rolled over and died. Sorry I'm such a skeptic, but I don't want that shit to happen again. Even without download links this isn't a bad source. Better yet, I can somewhat understand the language. Cool link
And if you ever find a link for WAHNTHAC please let me know. |

I am backing this statement as well. I don't see a way that this could happen, at least not with Rapdshare type downloads. If you download a compressed archive (.rar, .zip and so on) it's very difficult for anything inside it to damage your computer without the archive first being decompressed. p2p and torrent based downloading can give you trojans/viruses sometimes, but I've never heard of any trojan/virus that does this to a computer instantly. Computers usually only die if certain trojans/viruses are allowed to remain inside of them for a while, or if you get a fuckload of them. Also, if you use a good p2p program, you won't get viruses and such. |

I'm not sure what happened, but this must've been one of those rare cases. I downloaded the thing from I believe megaupload and within five minute my computer gave up. |
