This what I'm after, a list of every metal gig/show/concert that ever happened in Australia (if not at least a listing from the early 80s), not just from September 2005 like many websites have. Pictures would be a bonus but not necessary.
Could anyone help me with this?

You do realize there are a lot of local small-time bands in Australia? So there's no way you could get a full list of every metal gig to ever happen anywhere in Australia.

I wasn't expecting small ones, I meant international bands who have played here.

I'm pretty sure the only way to do that is find a website like ticketmaster or something and see which bands in the genre of metal are going to be playing there or have.
I have no clue otherwise how to find out.

I'm just going to make the comment that this is an impossible search. I imagine if you did a lot and I mean a lot of research you could come up with a rather decent list, but as far as everyone (major bands) that's just going to be impossible. I guess it comes down to what is considered a major band, and whats a minor band. Then you have the problem of venues that don't exist anymore and even more difficult is the bands themselves that don't exist anymore. Then there are the promoters that don't exist anymore.
