Well i don't think Neige started this sub-genre in order to make money. being in classic black metal bands like forgotten Woods and peste noire. then suddenly start creating music to "appeal the market" i just seriously doubt it. |

Being in a "classic" band doesn't stop someone from getting greedy. A lot of good bands have sold out and turned into crappy commercial stuff in their later years. |

How much money do you really think a blackened shoegaze band would make? especially with downloading and such. It's certainly not something any of the mainstream labels would jump on. |

Well, I stand by my belief that it is a crappy genre of wimpy and boring music. Not metal, black or otherwise, and not suited to any metal environment but quite suited to cups of tea with grandma I suppose. |

Ok well I'm going to leave this thread alone now i don't really want to be hated by everyone already. I actually do understand why heaps of people hate this by the way, just don't think Neige is driving around in a ferrari these days. |
