Post subject:  The MA Death Metal Album Survey

I am not too sure if this was already a topic, but I used search and did not get any results that would be close to this topic, also because of the recent Folk Metal and Doom Metal surveys, I was inspired to make this, now getting on to the point:

Choose what you think are the greatest Death Metal albums of all time and vote for them. Points will be calculated as it explains below. This works similarly to the Folk Metal, Heavy Metal, and Doom Metal survey threads. Here are the rules.

1.) How To Vote:
Send me your list with your top Death Metal albums. It can be of any subgenre of Death Metal, but if there is more influence from another genre than there is Death Metal, that particular album cannot be included. Also keep in mind that your submissions are final and can not be altered. I will not be changing tallies if you happen to change your mind.

2.) Point Calculation:

Your results (from your favorite to least favorite of your list) will receive a certain amount of points like this:

1 - 32
2 - 29
3 - 26
4 - 23
5 - 20
6 - 18
7 - 16
8 - 14
9 - 12
10 - 10
11 - 9
12 - 8
13 - 7
14 - 6
15 - 5

The same to the other threads.

3.) A particular artist in a list can not be repeated more than twice in this list. If you have many albums by a particular artist you like, please limit yourself to two. If you do not follow this rule, your votes will not be tallied.

4.) When making your list, please type your results in this format:

1. <Artist> - <Album>

I do ask that you spell properly. It will make tallying the results much easier.

Go ahead and start voting! PLEASE PM ME YOUR RESULTS. Do not post your results here. The last day to vote will be Friday, December 19, 2008. I will then post the results when I can, probably within a few days, pending on how many messages I receive.

Go.

If I remember correctly this was already done, but I could be wrong.

You can't use the term "metal" in a search, it gives you zero results because if it turned up every post with "metal" in it...well...

It was. There is no reason for another.

In fact I believe that statement also applies to these threads in general in this day and age.

I had a feeling it may have, but nothing turned up in the search. I got the Grindcore, Doom, Heavy Metal, and Folk Metal Surveys, but nothing for death metal.
