How long is the Toxic Holocaust setlist? My buddies and I are hoping to make a trip down to providence since we missed the show in mass. The thing is it's a 2 hour drive, and will cost $22, so we're wondering how long the toxic holocaust setlist is, since tha'ts the only band we're going to see.

I missed Toxic Holocaust because my friend who was driving was hell bent on getting there late.

But the only band you are going to see? For the love of all that is holy, stick around for GWAR, you will never regret it!

Well... unbelieveably they played first before the fucking terrible Kingdom of Sorrow (who got a longer set also). It was a damn shame, Toxic Holocaust played barely 30 minutes. They played all the classics though, their setlist was something like;

Thrashing Death
Hell on Earth
Wild Dogs
Gravelord
Feedback, Blood, and Distortion
War is Hell
Metallic Crucifixion
666

I might have missed one but that's roughly in order as how it was. They kicked ass and have definitely stepped up their game since the last time I saw them about a year ago.

Saw them on Sunday at the 9:30 Club. They ended with "Nuke the Cross," that's the only song I can remember which hasn't been listed. Their set was short, and here, the audience had no idea who they were. No pit was ensued and there was nominal headbanging. What a shame.

I saw that tour in middle October and Toxic Holocaust played for 30min tops. They sucked alot along with Kingdom

then there was GWAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GWAR could play with just about anybody and i'd still be there, just go late.

Its a god damned shame that Joel Grind can't work his way into a touring group that makes any fucking sense. Toxic Holocaust and Gwar would work, but Kingdom of Sorrow ruins it, AND they got better billing than TH, squashing their set to a measly 25-30 minutes.

We need a tour that makes some fucking sense. I need Toxic Holocaust to hit the road with Midnight, Bludwulf, and Inepsy. The Mad Max-esque flier practically photoshops itself.

Ah yeah I forgot Nuke the Cross was the closer. It was right before 666 and that one that Joel yelled, "AR THUR ANY FUCKIN' SATANISTS IN THE CROWD? HELL YEAH" then started the song lol.

Toxic Holocaust needs to do a tour with Evile, Warbringer, Violator, Rumpelstiltskin Grinder and Fueled by Fire. That would kick ass.

And you're fucking stupid if you think Toxic Holocaust is -core. Toxic Holocaust, musically, were better than GWAR. GWAR's live set is the reason that they bring more people and are famous for live, which is fun yeah, and I like them on record too.. but saying Toxic Holocaust sucks is ridiculous.

Regarding Gwar, make sure you wear something that isn't precious like a good band shirt so it doesn't get ruined by any of the crap they toss at the crowd. At best, a white tee and jeans should do.

I was going to say, I probably would have left when Gwar came on. I have no intention of being hit/sprayed/gooed/shat or have something unsanitary and disgusting thrown or sprayed at me.

It tasted like Hawaiian Punch. Seriously, just wear a white shirt, you will thank me.

Easily the most fun I've ever had in my life.

"YOU READY FOR SOME SPEED METAL?!!!!" Yeah, I thought Joel's banter between songs was really corny, but he's still an awesome musician.

I'd like to see them not be the first band to play of the night. I've seen them thrice, opening for Hate Eternal, At The Gates, and GWAR, it's about time they move in a tour lineup.

Very nice suggestions by the way. I personally would like to see this tour: Testament (headlining), Death Angel, Forbidden, Toxic Holocaust, Skeletonwitch, & Rumpelstiltskin Grinder

I saw all three bands last Saturday. I really liked Toxic Holocaust, but everybody else there seemed to hate them because they weren't Five Finger Death Punch or BFMV. I met Joel when he came to the bar after their set. He's a cool guy.

yeah i've told people to stick around for gwar. not a fan, but the live show is apparently worth it.

but fuck, i just want to see Toxic Holocaust. Been a fan since i heard evil never dies when it came out, and i've always had to miss a show because something comes up day of the show. :( even my fiance and our buddies have seen them twice this year. i've had to miss out.

also Toxic Holocaust + Municipal Waste + inepsy + bludwulf = best lineup ever for a TH-related tour. would love to see it happen, even if you just took off the waste or bludwulf it would be amazing.

I don't know why people down Toxic Holocaust's live performance, but they are just as good live as any other Thrash band... They are quite good in person. I finally got to see them when they toured with At The Gates.

The live show is DEFINITELY worth it. Even if you don't like the music, just tough it out, I promise it'll be a great decision.

Hey, he yelled that in Myrtle Beach, too!

Toxic Holocaust, musically, was the best band of the night. It's a shame they only played 7-8 songs. I had never heard of that second band, but they were awful. And if beer didn't cost $5 for a 16 ounce can, I would've found something to do while they played. Gwar was great as expected. I'm a big fan of their music, but even if you're not, their stage show is incredible. No one goes to see Gwar and doesn't have fun...unless they don't like getting pushed/bumped around.

It was almost worth the 3 1/2 hour drive JUST to see Toxic Holocaust, and the only thing that sucked was the length of their set. They played extremely well...I don't think they could've done any better. Go. You'll have fun.

the show ended up getting cancelled unfortunately :(

I'll just have to wait until Joel does another US tour I guess.

Evile and Warbringer would ruin that for me.

It's a shame that Warbringer are opening for Kreator and Exodus when they come here :grumble:

You like Bludwulf? They are so awesome, I know their singer personally. He painted my jacket and draws fliers for some of my shows. I've booked them so many times and they usually put on a great show. Their new stuff is great. They toured with Toxic Holocaust in 06 but Inepsy can enter the us so that would be a great fucking tour. Midnight is fucking awesome too! I missed their show here last year because I wasn't feeling well and I really regret it.
