Just joined to try to find a certain album that i have been serching since the beginning of the 90´s. It´s a compilation named "best of nordic metal" or "best of swedish metal" or similar. There is one of the most coolest songs i´ve heard with a solo battle between a guitarrist and a synth playing more faster and greater solon trying to kick som ass with eachother. So if you might have a clue what i´m looking for , please send me a mail. Thats´s it i guess.

mmmmh... the most similar thing i heard about a battle between a guitar and a synth is in "war of razors" from Children of Bodom's Tokyo Warhearts CD... maybe could be that one?

The only album I can remember thats sounds like this was Nordic Metal - A Tribute To Euronymous. It featured various black metal bands Mysticum and Arcturus who would use a lot of keyboards. I havent listened to it in years to be honest, but it could be Arcturus?

V/A - Power From The North: Sweden Rocks The World CD maybe ?

Tribute CD where Swedish bands are covering old Swedish Metal classics, like The Crown covering Bathory (Burning Leather in a ultimate Death-Thrash version, best track on the compilation) or Hammerfall covering Heavy Load and lots of other tracks...
