Lunar Temple (US) - Renunciation

Incredible demo, it sounds like a fusion of Noevdia and Crepusculo negro.
Mr Wolvserpent is involved so I'm not too surprised. Can't wait to hear more

Believe me people, listen to it

Cannibal Corpse - Vile

Not bad but very indistinct and unmemorable. Album feels very long. A big step down from The Bleeding, but they got better again after this ...

Next:
Solstice - Pray for the Sentencing

Cradle of Filth - Blackest Magick In Practice.

Damn I love this song. From the vocal lines to the drum beats to the tempo shifts. Hammer is my favorite CoF record without a doubt.

Alcest - Ecailles de Lune 2

This might be the vocals performance of Neige's career! Not only are the black metal shrieks amazing, sounding desperate and emotional and at the same time grim and dark, but the soft vocals at the end are absolutely gorgeous. I do wish the fast part in the beginning lasted longer, but maybe that would lessen the impact?

Timeghoul - Gutspawn

Fucking rips. Always intriguing to find bands that should've been big, had every morsel of songwriting quality necessary, but instead just fell by the wayside. They had a serious knack for writing riffs.

I listened to the two demos yesterday while working. Sure was glad to hear it again, since it had been a hhhwhile. I had completely forgotten about some great bits.

兀突骨 (Gotsu Totsu Kotsu) - 因果応報 (Retributive Justice)

Quality ripping death from Japan. All I've heard so far from these guys has been great.

...and Oceans - White Synthetic Noise

According to an interview, a new album coming by early 2020. Not going to miss it. Meanwhile, A.M.G.O.D. is doing just fine.

Metal Postcard was supposed to be there among their greatest hits. I consider it one of the greatest pieces of poetry ever written.

NP: Death - Symbolic
I find some earlier/older metal of death having a thrashy tinge to it. Death still kept and crept this vibe all along.

Bolt Thrower - Salvo

Been in a huge Bolt Thrower mood lately - Now I can't imagine this album becoming one of my favorites, but still, it's damn solid as far as I'm concerned.

Absolutely love the hell out of the creepy, eerie slowdown on this tune.

Disincarnate - Dreams of the Carrion Kind

This album gets better with age. Most of the solos kindof blend together though. I like the dissonant melodies he explores. Only a true musical master could even have the ear to come up with a lot of this stuff.

Got all their stuff, and should listen them more. Morningstar is still number one for me, but mTORR has the trademark sound I've always loved. Have fun with that!

Manowar - Touch the Sky

If I was a sports kind of person, I would listen this while working out. Goes well with beer too, though.

Haven't listened to this song in 15 years. Never my favorite Vader record.
