Manilla Road - Playground Of The Damned Hope Mysterium sounds at least half as good as this. Shit, it'll probably be better! |

I haven't listened to Blod-Draum in some time, though. Might need to rectify that. NuclearCreation91 wrote: Insect Warfare - World Extermination This is some killer grind. Too bad they only released the one full length. I think I prefer Death Toll 80K's Harsh Realities, as it's in a very similar vein to World Extermination, but this is still quite vicious. Isis - Panopticon Pretty much the polar opposite of Insect Warfare, eh? Isis's best album, I reckon, full of post-metal goodness. Nice ambient sections that give off a very relaxed vibe, and sparse vocals, so you can sit back and let the music consume you. It's awesome. |

Pig Destroyer - Prowler in the Yard Still as vicious as I remember. Nothing Pig Destroyer will do can top this, I believe, even though their later stuff is all worth owning. This is just some vicious grind backed up with some tormented vocals and demented lyrics. I actually didn't like this album when I first bought it, but I quickly saw the greatness in it. Also, Microsoft Sam for the win. I loved that program. |

Vulvagun - Cold Moon Over Babylon This band almost seems too good to be true. There are some songs here that drag a little and aren't as catchy as they might be, but the overall album is so cripplingly perfect for its style that I have to wonder if the follow up will be even close to this good. |

All Shall Perish - This Is Where It Ends - Spineless This is the deathcore album for people who do not like 'core. I don't want to sound preachy but I do really love this release. Phenomenal guitar work. Very riff oriented and the leads are no slouch. The vocals really give every song its own idenity. Its all in the eye of the beholder but I think this thing is kind of rare for 'core releases. |
