Hyperion (Ukr) - Through Centuries First listen. The production is quite feathery, but this is pretty good otherwise. The 8-minute instrumental was brilliant - didn't see that one coming. Still got two tracks to go. |

Cradle of Filth-The 13th Caeser Man, this song is catchy. Wasn't sure what I'd think of this (First Cradle CD I've actually purchased a hard copy of), but it's surprisingly good. |

I am currently listening to Ulver's third full-length album, Nattens Madrigal - Aatte Hymne til Ulven i Manden. More specifically, the second song titled "Hymne II - Wolf and the Devil". As this is my second listening of the CD, I must say that the guitar-instrumentation is fantastic, as well as the production. These two aspects seem to create such a raw, distant feeling--similar to a rather lengthy jaunt in a patch of solitary woodlands, surrounded by vast, towering mountains. Overall, a fantastic album, and well worth listening to. |
