Thy Only Forgotten - Dark Angel of the Four Winds

Shit, this sounds like The Chasm's second album; meaning it's moody as hell, yet guitar-centered - apparently it's from 2009 which surprises me even more. Colour me impressed.

Avantasia - Moonglow

They crammed a lot into a 4 minute pop tune. A more complex tune than the chorus makes it seem - this is gonna be a hell of an album.

Pantera - Far Beyond Driven

My fave Pantera record. It's so damn heavy. Full of hate and aggression.

I prefer (1996) Pantera - The Great Southern Trendkill.

(1998) Morbid Angel - Formulas Fatal to the Flesh.

Starlight Ritual - The Triangle

Good doomy stuff, nice atmosphere.
Some sort of ''stoner'' feeling to it.

King Diamond - The Invisible Guests

"Them" is probably my favorite King Diamond album. I know most go for "Abigail", and that's a fantastic album too, but there's something about this one that pulls me in just a wee bit more.

Darkthrone - Under A Funeral Moon

It is a very solid release. Not quite Transilvanian Hunger but very close.

8.2/10

My favorite by KD.

Veldes - Flameless

Atmospheric black metal with some kinda vague melodeath/progressive metal influences, I wanna say? Like an inferior Autumn's Eyes mixed with a lot of atmospheric black metal. Really boring album, unfortunately.

Quite possibly the greatest riff in black metal history.

Entombed - Rotten Soil

Clearly different from Entombed's first two albums but I'd be lying if I said this wasn't so much fun to listen to.

Dragged into Sunlight - Lashed to the Grinder and Stoned to Death

Panopticon - The Crescendo of Dusk

First time actually hearing this band. Was always kinda curious but never bothered until now for whatever reason. This is definitely the kind of sprawling moody stuff I like in black metal.

Decapitated - 404

Carnival Is Forever has some solid stuff. At least in my opinion. And yeah, this track exudes Meshuggah.

Earlier I listened to: Cult of Luna - Vertikal and King Diamond - The Eye. Right now I'm listening to the self-titled Demo from Moonblood.

mTORR - North

Been playing this quite often for now. This is on par with the last three Morningstar albums, which is some of the best stuff you get from here. This is a little bit more melodic and "anthemic" stuff than Morningstar, perhaps.

Usurper - Metal Lust

OK, I get it now - thanks to Spotify for finally letting me hear this band. This is like if Celtic Frost never quit doing the To Mega Therion style. God it's badass. The fucking riffs!

The Ruins of Beverast - Exuvia

I remember being very skeptical about this release but by the time this track was going on for a few minutes, I was absolutely certain I wouldn't be in for a disappointment. Here's hoping it won't take another 4 years for Meilenwald to come up with something again.
