What do you do when you want to buy a Moonsorrow record and don't know which one to get?

A: You get (almost!) all of them. Seriously falling in love with this band and can't believe I put them off for so long. Havitetty is what sold them for me initially; what a goddamn monument of a record. I was a bit sleepy when I first sat down with both Verisakeet and Tulimyrsky, so I have to revisit those more alertly. Voimasta Ja Kunniasta is great though, and I'm just over the halfway point in Kivenkantaja it's fantastic as well.

Also snagged a copy of Rush's Grace Under Pressure. Very underrated record as well!

I don't purchase physical media much anymore (I've purchased about a dozen records since the start of 2018), but I got myself a copy of Joe Dassin's album Les Champs-Èlysées, because it's probably my favourite Chanson album of all time.

To me, this is where he starts prefiguring post-punk with the cold, detached "Mitteleuropa" vibe. On the title track, you can almost hear Magazine, PiL, Joy Division, Bauhaus... being born.
