This year I purchased a lot of music (especially after starting work), but I'm still far behind most of you. Here's hoping that my collection will only expand in 2018.

Well, anyway, on Friday I received Futility Report by White Ward and got notification that Cormorant sent Diaspora so it'll come soon.

For today, I finally succumbed to Orphaned Land and preordered their new album(doesn't help that Facebook was constantly promoting it :P). Then I realized that because I got a new phone, I had accumulated 21 euros in free credits so I bought the last two albums by Enslaved( E/ In Times) with little less than two euros of my own.

Next one, I hope is, Wakar Cartel by Lugubrum, as LP is out.. .

Wasp - The Crimson Idol, cd
Heavy Load - Stronger Than Evil, cd
Fields of the Nephilim - Fallen, cd

Had to buy Wasp again, because it got lost. It's in the house somewhere, but... The Heavy Load isn't going to be released until 26th this month.

Summoning - With Doom We Come boxset. I enjoyed this one over Old Mornings Dawn. Haven't given the two track bonus vinyl As Echoes from the World of Old a listen though.

Image

Deeds of Flesh - Portals to Canaan I really enjoyed the past two Deeds of Flesh albums. Was fucking livid when I saw the box was ripped and the gatefold was damaged.
Carach Angren - This Is No Fairytale Snagged this when I saw them live up in Ottawa. Transparent green and black, limited to 300 copies
Woman is the Earth - Torch of Our Final Night Their best album yet.
Gruesome - Dimensions of Horror
Municipal Waste - The Fatal Feast: Waste in Space A lot of people dump hate on this album and this band. Fuck it, I like it. Green and yellow splatter.
Obsidian Tongue/Infera Bruo split. Saw Infera Bruo live with Falls of Rauros and Immortal Bird and dug their sound. Picked it up because I'm admittedly not familiar with Obsidian Tongue either. Limited to 300 copies.

Image

Fallujah - Dreamless
Obscura - Akróasis Bone white and orange vinyl, limited to 500. One of my favorite albums from 2016 and needed to grab it.
Dark Fortress - Séance
Arkham Witch - On Crom's Mountain
Nunslaughter - One Night In Hell 481/500

Several purchases today via the internet, probably post pictures when it all gets here. All on CD.

Pre-ordered from Metal Blade:

Visigoth - Conqueror's Oath, CD and Tshirt bundle. Great single convinced me to purchase this.

Amazon.com:

Visigoth - The Revenant King, Great record all around. Several superb songs.
Power Trip - Manifest Decimation
Power Trip - Nightmare Logic

Dark Descent:

Father Befouled - Desolate Gods
Spectral Voice - Necrotic Doom
Spectral Voice - Eroded Corridors of Unbeing, CD of this along with the long sleeve shirt.

That about does it for today. Good stuffs!

I ordered Helstar's Nosferatu last night. One of the best ever. I snagged the original vinyl. The sleeve is apparently a little wavy but the record itself was graded at NM so I don't mind.

With that one in tow I'll have Remnants of War, A Distant Thunder, and Nosferatu. One of the greatest 3-album runs of all time. Of course I'll have to grab the debut which isn't remotely on the same scale but is charming as fuck all the same.

Wow, what a great box set! Very cool. I've been meaning to pick up Freedom Call and Holy Live (probably the combo set) but the others I own and they're all excellent.

It only containts the cds in cardboard slips and no booklet(s) whatsoever, so that's a shame but it was only a tenner anyway.

I love Rebirth, but I've never really gotten into Matos-era Angra, so this seemed like a good pickup. I only listened to Angels Cry so far and its great (apart from that Kate Bush cover, damn).

Gotcha. I agree though, still a great deal! Yeah, Rebirth is very good. I definitely recommend Hunters And Prey if you don't have that one yet; it's sorta the "companion EP" to Rebirth. If you dig the Matos material, you should check out Shaman's first two albums. Almost everyone from Angra left to create Shaman after Fireworks, so Shaman has a very similar feel. Andre's solo material is alright but for the die-hard fans only I think haha.

Ill Natured - Unholy Desire shirt (Aussie hardcore band, sounds like Bolt Thrower gone hardcore)
I.O.V. - Another Destructive Century 2017 vinyl reissue (Philippine hardcore band from the '80s, think '80s Agnostic Front)
Sugar Hiccup - Closure (Philippine shoegaze band from the '90s with their comeback/farewell album, think '80s 4AD artists)

MARDUK: Warschau (with bonus DVD)
+ a ticket to see Marilyn Manson in June

What really sucks is that the folks at the shop weren't able to get me Marduk's "Blood Puke Salvation" DVD. I SO wanted it! At least the CD I purchased came with a bonus DVD that I loved. Better than nothing, I guess.
