Ghost - Prequelle LP - the first album I have actually enjoyed of theirs since Opus Epnoymous came out. Catchy songs and that nice old school vibe to it.

I thought I was the only person that enjoyed that album. They skewered this thing the very second it was released and complained that the band sold out, implying that they haven't been playing accessible pop tunes from the very beginning. Go figure.

Triuwint - Über Trümmertälern

I'm mighty stoked! Been waiting for this one for a while and it's finally released on CD. They play melodic black metal and do it very well.

Cool artwork too:

Devin Townsend-Empath 2LP
Panopticon-The Crescendo Of Dusk single sided LP, green vinyl, side B etched
Panopticon-Social Disservices LP, 2019 Bindrune reissue, clear with wihte/grey splatter
Tomb Mold-Planetary Clairvoyance LP, cyan/mint green/black merge with purple Splatter
Demilich-Nespithe LP, 2018 Svart Records reissue
Thursday-No Devolucion 2LP, 2011 original pressing, side D etched
The Cure-Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me 2LP, 2016 reissue

The Devin Towsend, while far from his best work, has grown on me considerably.

The new Tomb Mold is just...excellent.

I was thinking to buy it.
The vinyl color seems different to the one of the cover, right?
By the label pics I thought it was almost the same red.

Secrect Machines-Live At The Garage 2LP
The Glorious Dead-Imperator Of The Desiccated 7", random color-mine appears to me purple/brown/maroon-ish.
+44-When Your Heart Stops Beating LP, 2019 reissue, blue marbled
King Crimson-The Reconstrucktion Of Light CD/DVD-A, 40th Anniversary Series, 2019 reissue (sort of)
King Crimson-The Power To Believe CD/DVD-A, 40th Anniversary Series, 2019 reissue

Those complete the King Crimson 40th Anniversary Series, which is ironic as 2019 is the band's 50th anniversary. CD is a useless format for me in 2019-these were bought strictly for the 5.1 DVD-A's. Reconstrucktion is a "sort of" reissue, as apparently the drum master recordings for the original Construcktion Of Light album are lost and the drums had to be re-recorded (and as such, the entire album remixed).

Athena - _A New Religion?_ - maybe the best album Fabio Leone has ever appeared on
Soen - _Lotus_ - strong effort but takes a back seat to _Lykaia_, I'd say
Aquaria - _Luxaeterna_ - a bit of a potlatch to the metal gods as I craved Angra soundalikes and impulse-bought this - this is more in a Stratovarius meets Helloween vein, though, and ultimately pretty uneven
Brave - _The Calm | The Storm_ - the best full-length album so far from this long-running northern Virginia atmo/prog rock/metal band with female vocals - heavier than their last two if you care about that (I don't)
Andre Matos - _Time to Be Free_ - another impulse buy in the wake of Andre's death - the opening track is great but the rest drags somewhat - why did he go full power metal after having been so free to experiment in 90s Angra and to some extent the first Shaman album? After some careful listening, I think his last album, _The Turn of the Lights_, is actually what I need

Lo-Ruhamah - Anointing

https://lo-ruhamah.bandcamp.com/album/anointing

Quality black metal with some death metal and avant-garde elements from I, Voidhanger Records. It's a pretty big change in style from their first album too.

Athena - _A New Religion?_ (used)

Perhaps Fabio Lione's best album and the best of the 90s Italian prog metal movement. Picked this one up at Discogs, which I'd largely ignored for a long time. But it's way better for buying older metal CDs than Amazon or eBay because of the large number of non-US sellers offering used CDs.

I have all three of Andre's solo albums and Time To Be Free is actually my favorite. The next two are decent, though IMO there's a lot more passion and feeling in TTBF. Have you listened to Mentalize too?

I have. I think _Mentalize_ is my least favorite of the three, though it's OK. Perhaps my problem with _TTBF_ is just that it goes downhill after the first full song, which is great.

You think so? The title track, Face The End, and Looking Back are all really strong songs IMO! It's also the most varied of the three albums, whereas Mentalize and TTOTL feel a little "samey" to me. But to each their own. :) Either way, Andre left quite the legacy of a lot of good tunes for the rest of us to enjoy!

That Magnum - Chase the Dragon is a great album. I have been listening to it a lot as of late.

Megadeth - Killing is my business...and business is good. I was very surprised to see this at my local Wal Mart. Ive had it for years, but I saw it for a few bucks. I bought it for a copy to leave in my car and have been playing it since.

Named after Bloodborne so....!

And that MF album is great, a typical Autumn album for me.

Stopped by Planet Score records and grabbed a couple used CDs along with a couple free tickets to Gwar/Sacred Reich later in the month!

Overkill - The Wings of War
Cannibal Corpse - Eaten Back To Life (needed to fill in this hole in my CC collection, would have preferred the original copy but this remaster sounds OK)

I pre-ordered the new Sonata Arctica and am looking forward to hearing it. I actually really enjoy their two most recent albums so I have fairly high hopes for this one too.
