Yeah, I got the CD version first, and then the vinyl version, since I had heard that a few parts were different. Definitely a stellar album either way, and I hear ya about not liking CDs.

YAY! Ash borer finally released their self titled on CD. Just ordered a copy of that!

I also found a great used copy of voivod - nothingface in the vinyl section of a record shop, and got it for a killer price.

I'll likely post pics of everything I've got recently in a couple months or so, so that way I can post it all together, and in case I get more new stuff this early in the year.

Aikamoinen kasa! Toi Darkthrone on kyllä vitun kova! Toi ORFVS on kyllä yksi kovimmista uusista demoista. Mulla on se alkuperäsenä, kun se äijä asuu tossa ihan lähistöllä.

Something new:
Image

The Sodality, Ultra, Lettera 22 & Whitehouse so no metal this time.

EDIT: + Dieter Müh which is for sale/trade (new & sealed double copy). Good stuff if you have fondness on calmer side of industrial.

Onhan tuota kerääntynyt, tässä kuussa tullut harvinaisen paljon kaikkea. DT & BF on ehdottomasti paras uusimmista Darkthronen levyistä, muuten en olekaan jaksanut innostua.

Oh well, shit happens. :nono:

Bad Religion-True North (translucent red vinyl)

This also comes with a download and a CD (less the full packaging). $15. That's how vinyl should be done.

Yeah, now we can see it thank you. Even though I haven't really listened to DO, I must admit that's quite impressing set.

As for me: 4kg of vinyl + one lightweight CD full of heavyweight music
Image

Seems like I completed my A.S.M.Z. collection with one big order, though I already had the debut so that's up for sale/trade (used but very good). Still need to get the latest 2x7" set. I consider myself lucky finding the 1st press of one of my personal favorite bm albums of all time from the same seller.

I consider this a good day. :-P

Candlemass - Psalms for the Dead CD
Terrorizer - Hordes of Zombies LP

These will probably be last purchases until the Darkthrone comes out. No money = no new music :(

It's a good thing I'm not too big on packaging or presentation, because the VR and Sav reissues feel to be made of cereal boxes (100% booklet free!). Now to contradict myself, it was a nice surprise that the Darkthrone, which I found on the Best Buy site for $8.99, turned out to be the enhanced version. And Grand Magus is all kinds of awesome. I'm finally buying my way through their discography.

The site is limping along today.

@Marmer - Fuck me Jesus!!!

Now, where on Earth can I find info about those 2013 reissues on Vic Records? Their website hasn't got any news updated since 2012 and the catalogue section only has the original Vic releases... I'm particularly interested in the Phlebotomized EP, what extra material does it bring?

Yeah, the only info I have on those releases was posted on VIC facebook (http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid= ... nt_count=1). I searched their website/shop when I saw that fb post and didn't find a thing.

I am SO Fucking envious of your having Demigod's Slumber of Sullen Eyes on Vinyl. As a HUGE Finn death fan I have been looking for that album forever to no avail.

Fuenebre's Children of the Scorn also rules, I have it on CD but not Vinyl.
