^Dance Of Death is a very underrated album IMO. Enjoy! It's got some filler (as just about all Maiden albums do) but it's also got a few of my favorites of theirs like Rainmaker, the title track, and Paschendale.

Agreed! Absolutely overlooked. That cover art is legendarily bad though. Even more unacceptable when you see it came out in 2003 instead of the early 90s. hahaha

Hahaha so true. If they had done away with all the CG characters and just kept the grim reaper Eddie, it would've been exponentially better.

I remember this blowing my mind back in the day. Still a fun album, and I could care less if the rest of the death metal community happens to hate them lol.

Made good tips at work today so I went ahead and picked up Cipher by Imperialist (USBM) and With Doom We Come by Summoning on vinyl. Excited to spin these.

It does seem to have been largely forgotten. They obviously existed before, but this record was the first time I ever heard gravity blasts used in a song.

I got to see them shortly before that record came out while they toured with Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus, and Necrophagist. Remember the look on peoples faces while they played. People had no idea what they were watching. hahaha

One of the most interesting discs that came out last year and what is to me right now the most likely contender for AOTY 2019. The more I listen to it the more I find myself convinced that it'll be very hard to beat it. Sure there's a new Esoteric album promised for later this year, but other than that I don't see it faltering to anything else. Absolutely incredible album!

Got the special edition CD version of the new Dream Theater yesterday. What an album! Also picked up Fire Garden by Steve Vai, which surprised me by having a lot of singing on it. It’s actually a really great album. Any other Vai fans here?

Dream Theater-When Dream And Day Unite, 2018 Music On Vinyl repress, translucent red vinyl, 105/3500
U2-No Line On The Horizon, 2019 repress
Same-Forgot To Say "Action", 7", clear vinyl

The Dream Theater completes my Portnoy-era studio album collection on LP.

The U2 completes my studio album collection on LP.

Same is an indie rock band based out of Pittsburgh, PA who sounds sort of like Sunny Day Real Estate mixed with Hum, I'd say (the subdued indie rock-isms of SDRE mixed with some sapce-y Hum like aspects is how I hear it at least). This 7" was released on Head2Wall Records. Terribly generic band name that might hold them back (simply typing "same" without any qualifiers into Google or Discogs yields hundreds of irrelevant results), but a very good band in spite of that.

Death Therapy - Voices

I really dig their first album and they put on a great live show, so I've got pretty high expectations for this one.

Yeruselem-The Sublime, random color LP. My random color appears to be a forest or swamp green base with light red and white marbling.

This color variant is limited to 150 worldwide and I believe I got the very last one. I mistakenly went to DMP's European store fist to order, and this version was sold out there. When I noticed the link to DMP's North American store, I went there and saw it was still in stock. After putting in my order, I went back as saw that it's now showing out of stock. Lucked out, I suppose.

Wrathblade- God of the Deep Unleashed, purchased digitally on their Bandcamp.
I think Greece has an insane metal scene nowadays. This is one of my favorite epic heavy metal albums I’ve ever heard.

Death Angel - The Evil Divide
Corrosion of Conformity - Blind

Also, my outgoing girlfriend purchased:
Marilyn Manson - Antichrist Superstar (she missed owning it, her mother literally burned it when she was a teenager)
Powerwolf - Blood of the Saints

So I didn't buy those second two, but they're ripped and part of my library now.
