Finally! It'll be almost 8 years since their last record by the time this comes out. I just recently got back into these guys. They are using the same producer as the first two records again, which is awesome news for me; Darkness With Tales To Tell is still my favourite Manticora record. I really like Lars' vocals, he has one of the most recognizable and unique voices in power metal, I think.

Seems like an odd way to release a record, if they stick to this idea mentioned in the news file- releasing one song at a time.

Either way, I'm pretty stoked for this!

New Manticora AND it's going to be a lengthy concept album? Can't wait!

I'm not crazy about the whole releasing one song at a time, but it's new Manticora so I'm pumped. It's been way too long since Safe.

Since it's a concept album, it makes me wonder if they are going to release one song a week or something; kind of making it like episodes of a show. I agree, I'd rather hear albums start-to-finish (I sometimes buckle and listen to singles).

New song is (finally) here and it sounds pretty vicious to me. I've always loved Lars' voice.

Fuck yeah, Manticora rules and have been one of my favorite bands since 2004 to be honest! Thanks for posting the new song, listening to it now.

Lars Larsen is the personification of the term "weak link".
They have an interesting sound, but I feel their music needs vocals that goes over the top, all the time.

Not for me, I think he is one of the more endearing aspects of the band.

Same! I love his voice and his delivery. The "Darkness with Tales To Tell" record is one of my favourite power metal albums, and a big part of it is Lars' voice.
