Couldn't believe my eyes when I read that the kings of Czech grind were back(!!!). I urge everyone who used to be/still are into them to show these fellas some support and follow them on their FB page!

I thought this was relatively old news, and I'm not really surprised either way. I mean, what else could they have been doing when they reunited last year? :???:

That being said, I await this with bated breath...so long as it's closer to Pod vladou bice than it is to Rad A Trest.

What's wrong with Order and Punishment? Kali has one of the greatest endings in any death metal song I've ever heard.

There's nothing "wrong" with it, per se, as it's a good album...but for me, it fails to capture the magical, almost oriental zaniness that Pod vladou bice possesses.

Well, !T.O.O.H! hardly play actual grindcore, that's what I was getting at. As far as Czech grind goes, Lycanthrophy is at the top of my list. But good god damn does that country produce a lot of ass-kicking grind bands.

Like others, I'm eagerly looking forward to this although I'll be doing so apprehensively. Would rather not get myself worked up for an album that could end up being mediocre at best seeing as the track record for reunion albums as a whole is quite poor.

Yeah, really.. :scratch: I wouldn't exactly call them grind. They rule, and that's what matters.

But I'm fucking stoked for this. I just want the chaos. Pod Vladou Bice was sick as fuck, I think I'm about to go check out the other albums. I've been a fan of !T.O.O.H! songs that I've come across on youtube and etc, but the only album I've spent time with is Pod Vladou Bice.

Yeah, I didn't like it much at all either... where is the deathgrind? The pretty flourishing Eastern melodies?

This just sounds unbearably cheesy and substanceless, like children's music backed by blast beats. Boring vocals, repetitive song structure, drum tone that must have been created in a laboratory test tube... almost like !T.O.O.H.! just decided to make an album of stereotypical "!T.O.O.H.! weirdness" without any thought put into making it. :ugh: From the band's standpoint I can kind of see why they'd want to release an album like this before calling it quits, but it's a damn shame that they're going to go out on such a low note. I'm going to go listen to Pod vládou biče while huddling over a gallon-sized tub of triple chocolate fudge ice cream and bawling my eyes out.
