Ok, now is the time to settle the argument about who is the better vocalist, bassist. Is it the screaming giant of Slayer, Tom Araya, or the guttural thump of German heavy weight thrash band Sodom's Tom Angelripper. Two commanders of thrash but only one will emerge the winner. Pick your choice guys!! \m/

Ron Royce

But from those two i'd pick Angelripper.

Araya is only a bass player by default, I get the feeling that he probably didn't do much bass playing on the albums. If you watch what he plays live he doesn't follow the more intricate parts very often. I don't really think it's fair to compare the two: Angelripper is very much in the Lemmy mould (mole'd?) whereas Tom Araya is a lot more theatrical, a bit like an evil Rob Halford with a bass.

I choose Ron Royce too if that was an option. Araya if not able to. I just love his screams!

Steve Reynolds > all that shit.

I guess I'd vote for Araya, but Angelripper is definitely a cooler dude.
