I quite like Equilibrium. Well, the first two albums anyhow. But, one thing has consistently bugged me about Turis Fratyr pretty much since I first heard it, and that's the production. Strangely, none of the reviews on M-A or really anywhere else iirc seem to think the same, but to me the vocals and drums especially sound pretty fucking horrendous and compressed. This persists across all versions I've ever heard of the album, and it drives me nuts since I think the songwriting on TF edges out Sagas by a decent margin, but the production makes it almost painful to listen to.

Apparently, a few years back Nuclear Blast re-released TF and the 2003 Demo on Vinyl, to very little fanfare (or effort with regards to cover art, jesuuuus). I'm wondering if anyone who owns or has heard the album on Vinyl knows if the production issues are the same, better, or worse because if it's in any way superior to the CD I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Also it might be worth pointing out that the Vinyl version isn't mentioned anywhere on the album's M-A page.
