There is a brutal death metal band out of either Denmark, Austria, The Netherlands, or possibly Belgium (IIRC) that I came across more than a decade ago as a kid. I was probably 16 and remember the album cover had a troll(?) of the violent persuasion on the cover. I feel like the cover had a greenish tint, and the troll/goblin may have been coming out of a house or something... hard to remember. Sort of an odd album cover. I'm not really a huge brutal death fan, more of an old-school Swedeath guy, but I remember it being really fucking heavy. This was back in the iPod classic days, pre-Spotify and I had this shit on my iPod but eventually deleted it because it was uncomfortably brutal, for example I think there was a song implying some borderline pedo shit lyrically... this record was fucking crazy brutal in just about every way. Now I'm really curious to know if it holds up, whatever it was and to see if it's even close to as brutal as I remember, because it actually wasn't bad from a songwriting/playing perspective. As for the year of release, I want to say this was late 90's, maybe 99 even. Post-death metal I normally find appealing. Production was pretty good though, mostly old school sounding.

Anybody know what the hell I might be referring to?

Thanks in advance and greetings from Atlanta.

Done. Thanks man!

EDIT: the closest thing I've found so far is Rated-X by Deranged if that helps anyone.

the cover art description made me think of runemagick's sophomore, but it's pretty solidly in the regular osdm camp, rather than bdm, and of course they're swedish
