Hello, I am big fan of Carach Angren and their older stuff. I recall two "songs", where they don't really use much instrumentalisation and they read poems in black metal voices. One is Hexed Melting Flesh from Lammendam (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrJzntqZAVc&t=1060s) and another is Al Betekent Het Mijn Dood from Death Came Through A Phantom Ship (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxYXR9xcrLY&t=1372s), (the second is more of a song than the other but you get the idea).

I am looking for similar tracks for a very long time, but none of the other bands that I listen to have anything similar. I found myself somehow enjoying those two tracks and would be glad if I found more about other bands that use similar technique. Maybe there is even a band, that does mostly "extreme metal voice poetry reading"? or single tracks from albums, that incorporate such technique?

Thanks for the suggestions in advance!

The first song which came to mind is Rotting Christ’s version of The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe.

A Hill to Die Upon also did something similar with their version of Satan Speaks.

I am not certain these quite fit what you mean, but I hope they help.

The first 3 releases from Real Slam Poetry are poems in extreme metal voices, as it's the main purpose of the group. I saw them perform live and enjoyed it!

Second mention of Rotting Christ:

Les Litanies de Satan (Les fleurs du mal)
For a Voice like Thunder

Not really what you're looking for but still funny: there's a full length vid of Nathan Explosion from Dethklok reading Shakespeare on youtube.

And now also their newest release as they just put out another album last week!

Drudkh, at least in Blood in our Wells, extensively quote Ukrainian poetry.
