I'll try to keep this list short, but the thing with the N.W.O.B.H.M. movement is that, outside of a few mainstream acts which managed to persevere beyond the movement's age (about '77 - '85), the majority of bands' material was released as singles and EPs. That makes for a lot of releases to track down. With that said, here's where I'd say to start:

Crucifixion - After the Fox Comp. (2019)
Holocaust - The Nightcomers (1980)
Virtue - We Stand to Fight Comp. (2013)
Demon - The Unexpected Guest (1982)
Legend - A Death in the Nursery (1982)
Diamond Head - Borrowed Time (1982)

Of course, there are tons of others, but those are my top picks.

here's a decent playlist of catchy songs (the first 11) and some oddities (the rest):

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... 7XNoe3T027

if you prefer whole albums, "skipping" bands like maiden, def leppard, etc. which made it "out" of nwobhm, i'd say the diamond head and angel witch debuts are good entry points...
